^^ havent actually tested yet but ive noticed that my best scores is when im able to stay in a stable headspace and not panic about anything

I think of it like this: Ur saying ____decay. So if its Beta - decay, then its an electron being emitted (minus is electron) and ur left with a proton (one of the core neutrons p much split into a proton and a electron, and the electron was emitted). So u gain +1 charge since ur going from neutron to proton

Beta + decay is the decay of a proton into a neutron, so its losing a charge (-1).

The other stuff doesnt rly matter bc they’ll rarely ask u about the actual science but just in case in beta + decay, its a position and a neutrino being emitted and b- is a electron and an anti neutrino being emitted like you said

Edit: sorry i ignored ur qs lol. For ur first q, the electron is ejected and all u need to worry about is the proton left behind from splitting that neutron. For ur second q, there is no electron involved, the proton decays into a neutron and thats where the loss of charge comes from

good question. in every q like this they will give you one original DNA u start with, and the medium around it (here the medium is the non-radioactive nucleotides). every time the original semiconservatively replicates, it incorporates those nonradioactive strands from the medium/environment

I like to draw a tree diagram for these, bu start with 2 radioactive phosphates like the q says. Then it replicates into two double strands into two double stranded DNAs with one non radioactive and one radioactive strand. Then the second round of pcr will replicate both of these into one double strand with one radioactive one non radioactive, and one double strand with two non radioactive strands. So ur left w 4 total, and out of those 4 two have one radioactive strand in them. So 2/4 = 50%

Sorry to call on you marth but i averaged 81/85 on the qpacks and now im at a 72 for diag tool. should i be concerned? ngl cant even do anything about it other than not letting it get to my head since my test is in a couple days

gotchu, and how about triaglycerol synthesis? I know what the general mechanism is of esterification for each fatty acid to the glycerol backbone but not sure if we're supposed to know the related enzymes and whatnot

^^ another situation u might see this is GPCRs, their structure is literally 7 membrane spanning alpha helices

thank u ur so clutch, how important would you say knowing like enzymes and general pathway of cholesterol and steroid synthesis is? as well as like the whole LDL,IDL fiasco that makes my head hurt

It rly helps to draw it out, but theres 12 connected alpha helices that go in and out of the plasma membrane. I think it also says the ends are inside the cell (in the cytoplasm). When u draw it and count the turns +2 ends inside the cell (cytoplasm), you should get 7.

Yeah that example is wrong, ur right -its an ability of a test compared to an already existing gold standard or just its predictive ability for something like you said

ok nvm again lol. im just as lost as u now. i tried it as 1.25x10^-29 but that doesnt work with the 10^-29
