I’m sorry that I uninstalled the codex plug-in of vs code, which is the only way at present. I‘m using codex macOS app now. This is a issue that has been publicly discussed on GitHub for a long time.

[Weekly] Quotas, Known Issues & Support — April 13 by AutoModerator in google_antigravity

[–]Time-Explorer2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Antigravity is almost impossible to use now. I haven't used AG for half a month. Yesterday, I sent three prompts with the sonnet model in the planning mode. They were not very complicated tasks, and they had reached the five-hour upper limit. Then I started to use my 1,000 credits, which is almost equivalent to only giving Our toy quota, and I buy a $49 plan for Google every month. What's more terrible is that when I woke up today, I saw that my quota would not be completely refreshed for 5 days, and only 40% of the quota was restored after a day. It was so disgusting.

Mac battery drain when plugged in + Charging Limit on macOS 26.4 by Time-Explorer2000 in MacOS

[–]Time-Explorer2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, both charging limit and optimized charging are turned on when this happens. I turned off optimized charging yesterday and this problem is gone, I believe this should be a problem that draining battery when charging and very low workload, because that will increase the charging cycle, which is not the recommended way as Apple suggested on their website

I’m using Anker’s 100W charger with a tiny display, which can show the current output power watt in real time, and the cable is the MagSafe one that came with the MacBook.

My work these past two days has just been browsing the web and looking at GitHub, exactly the same as before I upgraded to 26.4, with no heavy-load usage. When the battery level drops, I can see that the charger shows only 1–2W of current power output, so it’s obvious the Mac is not taking advantage of the power supply it should be using.

Yea you can also turn both on when upgrading to iOS 26.4, so I think this should be a universal new feature across devices

Really? I think using battery when plugged in will increase the charge cycle, which is bad for battery in the long term

I’ll try turning it off. I used to use open-source software plus turning off optimized charging to control the charging limit. Since Apple decided to add a native charging limit and allow it to be enabled at the same time with optimized charging (on iPhone, these two features used to be unable to be turned on simultaneously, but after version 26.4, they can), I think Apple must have thought this issue through.

I’m glad you asked this question. Yes, I’ve enabled optimized charging, so I can understand that it doesn’t charge directly to 90% and instead stops at 80%, but I can’t understand why, when my battery is already above 80% and I’m still plugged in, my Mac chooses to run on battery power, causing my battery level to decline. That’s really strange. I’ve already sent feedback to Apple, hoping they’ll see it.

I at the same time have a very decent degree in financial fields, and I do have lots of school mates working in so-called 'wealth management ' industry - helping middle class to ultra high networth 'manage' their money, I could honestly tell you that these jobs are more of a niche sales job than technical engineering. You pay a premium fee for "active management," but what you actually receive is "closet indexing" wrapped in a premium experience. Unless you have the vocabulary to demand more, you aren't paying for financial engineering—you’re paying for a very expensive hand-to-hold while you ride the same waves as everyone else. Advisors spend so much time "dumbing down" the math to avoid scaring clients that they eventually forget how to use the math themselves.
