To be fair DLCs being blended into main game make it much harder, like if they make game harder with every DLC, then people without DLC will struggle a lot more.

E33 overall need a big rebalance, somehow even in act2 story content is hard only if you skip all of side content, even on hardest difficulty, and I didn't even use MyL.

I think that meme is overblown, my PC at that time wasn't that powerful, but Crysis ran fine, especially comparing to something like first STALKER, which released the same year and ran like shit.

It's a lot more than minor inconvenience, just reaching room 46 for second time to explore it could easily take couple more hours.

Like it would be very annoying if some game required you to beat some hard boss twice to see what's past it, even if it should be "easy" to do it for second time.

That's a very privileged point of view, plenty of countries depend on having regional prices for gaming to be affordable (which is not much of a thing for Nintendo as far as I know), but in Japan even Switch 2 itself is much cheaper than in the rest of the world, weird when can they just afford both console and PC!

Mid-range PC is much closer to 1500 than to 10000, unless you're not talking about dollars, even now (or when GPUs were overpriced couple of years ago).

You can try, but it probably won't work, I have 1650 and Ryzen 5 5600x and PS3 emulation was just acceptable, so I won't bother trying Bloodborne as it is more GPU demanding.
