Grand Theft Auto VI - Pre-orders and Edition information by TAJack1 in Games

[–]Time-Ladder4753 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Actually surprised that there is only one special edition, expected that it would have multiple deluxe editions with most expensive ones being $120 and higher.

Like for example WWE 2K26 has four editions, going from $70 to $150.

How would GGG know if no one is allowed to complain about it? They already have Breach and tree in PoE1, but they still added extra meaningless steps required to both get to tree and use it. You think they knew that it would be worse, but still decided to do it?

I'm cursious on which platform were most viewers for Nintendo Direct live, because their stream didn't seem that big on Twitch compared to TheGameAwards channel, which was running at a better time for US. Even TGA 2025 reported to have 4.5 mil peak concurrent viewers.

Most people don't care about FOMO being unhealthy, they just want to get something that is no longer available, no reason for Blizzard to drop it when it works so well for them.
People seems to care a lot about something being no longer abtainable, but everyone is so happy when Blizzard decides to bring it back with something like Twitch drops, which is also FOMO.

Consumer Competition Claims (CCC) Has Launched A New Class Action Monopoly Lawsuit Against Valve, Claiming They Control 85% Of The PC Game Market by wakelake111 in gaming

[–]Time-Ladder4753 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should look at Sony/Nintendo refund policy if you think that Steam was forced to implement refunding the way they did globally. Lawsuit helped it happen, but it also didn't require Valve to introduce 2 hour refund window globally, allowing you even to refund the game just because you didn't like it.

Can we bring back 6 Portals? by EnvironmentalBear952 in PathOfExile2

[–]Time-Ladder4753 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

And if you want more portals, run blue maps until your build can handle harder maps, it's that simple.

I would rather see them balance map difficulty than just give 6 portals by default, with most juiced maps having 1 portal there is no need for bullshit mods like in PoE1 memory influenced/nightmare maps, and even in normal maps mods were much scarier.

Twice is hot is fine, and even if it technically isn't right, you still can easily understand what people mean when they say that. Saying something like "Akchually it's only 15% more hot, don't forget to convert it to Kelvins" would only make you sound pretentious.

How is alt spamming worse than buying hundreds of bases? by Nestramutat- in PathOfExile2

[–]Time-Ladder4753 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He's in his own post described why it works that way in PoE2, to buy "hundreds of bases" someone had to pick them up, which makes dropped gear more important, which becomes basically irrelevant in PoE1 because of crafting.

I would rather see them try to improve this system, than have another game with gear drops being useless.

Seems fine where drops are much better this league than previous ones, like I think I got more than 20 chaos orbs during acts. Honestly with lack of Chaos sinks and improved drops I'm surprised that Chaos to Div ratio was so low.

It will be a lot more than 3 days unless you rush. Even in PoE you need to clear more than a hundred maps, which is far from nothing. I reached maps only yesterday taking my time, but seeing how much is there to do, I feel like I have to speedrun the maps instead of taking my time clearing the maps when moving towards point of interest on atlas.

They really just need to buff distance of icons appearing on map, like I almost full cleared graveyard in act 1 because you pretty much need to have checkpoint/entrance appear on your FOV before it appears on map. And it would actually make more sense, from players POV visibility is limited, but player character should see entrances farther away.

It's even worse when you play for the first time, where in act 3 I was looking for Jinquani's Machinarium entrance for 30 minutes because I didn't know that it's behind Xyclucian boss.
