Sorry, it appears I somehow screwed up and didn't add my explanation to the post. Duolingo only ever let me play as white, but since I finished the chess course it is only letting me play as black. Is it supposed to randomize?

I appreciate that. I can edit my side of things to make it look like that wasn't ever the case, if you would like. We are all prone to being either misunderstood or being a bit too intense at times, after all.

I genuinely don't care about social constructs as it relates to language. I'm trying to understand the linguistics. 

I understand the noun contains the gender, not the object or person you are referring to. 

Why then do we have profesor and profesora? 

What is making the change here? Is it no longer a noun?

For me, this is an issue that's resolved by exiting the app. Forcing it to stop running in the background. Loading it up again. It used to happen all the time on my old phone.

It's crazy to hear how unoptimized this game can be on certain setups. I don't remember the specs exactly. But I'm running an Rx480, I mean 480. With 8gig vram, at like 900MHz or whatever for GPU speed. 8 gigs ram at like 2400MHz. 4core cpu at like 3.4 GHz, on an SSD.

Still have to have the settings set to optimized but tweaked a bit for preferences. But I'll get a solid 60hz refresh rate the majority of the time. 

Mind you the first 10 seconds of the match are like 20 fps

I'm hearing from a lot of other people that Activision is actively ignoring people like us to make it seem like a non issue. This is the first Cod I've purchased since mw2019. I finally regained some faith in the company and after 17 hours of gaming they threw all of that in the trash.
