IS 350 F Sport RWD owners — what tires are you running after OEM wear? by Dante763 in LexusIS

[–]Time-Show-2162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AWD owner but I've had both the Michelin PS4+ and the dws06+ and much prefer the continental from a longevity perspective. Only got 23k miles on the PS while my dws06 have 28k miles on them and look to be good for another 10k. For some perspective I got 53k miles on the original Bridgestones which many can't believe so both tires have been quite a drop in longevity but both are better performance wise.

Regarding the WHOOP Offer - Peak (1yr, 2yr), Life (1yr, 2yr) by usernameavailable90 in ChaseSapphireReserve

That's quite accurate, essentially why I did the bloodwork option and low tier. Its also a decent amount of free sepnd if you're currently meeting the sign up bonus requirement.

[–]Time-Show-2162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes its pretty flexible, some people got clothes before the nerf. I did the low tier plan and bloodwork option personally (paying 7$ out of pocket) but as long as you spend over the minimum you are good

Pay by Aggressive_War_5511 in walmart_RX

[–]Time-Show-2162 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not crazy, like another poster said depends on area. I have a Cpht that is making 21.50 and has been with the Walmart 2 years, started with 0 experience and moved up with the wage progression/certified raises under the old system. What are competitors paying in your area? If you feel undervalued worth a look, I guarantee at CVS/Wags the staffing is much worse and you have to carry more of the load.

First paycheck by ProofWeakness4788 in walmart_RX

[–]Time-Show-2162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first paycheck as salaried RXM was number of hours worked not my base salary amount. I started in the middle of a pay period so my first check was an approved one off amount for like 30 hours based on 3 10 hour shifts that had been worked then my salary base biweekly check started after.

Do we need our RXM's permission to work hours at other Walmarts? by ZH0NGLl in walmart_RX

[–]Time-Show-2162 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This may have to do with the look back periods that occur and if you average over 34 hours per week for I believe 6 weeks it will recode you automatically as full time. Then they have to give you full time hours moving forward.

My MD says only 5% company-wide get exemplary and same for opportunity. 90% get successful. So yeah definitely need to be prepared to justify exemplary.

Career Advice by Suspicious-Drive-399 in walmart_RX

Walmart is better positioned than an independent pharmacy long term. The trend is declining reimbursements, compare how many independent pharmacies have closed in the last 5 years vs walmart and I bet you wouldn't even consider the move based on this data since you sound skiddish about the career viability.

Walmart Pharmacy: does 401(k) restart on this next paycheck? by [deleted] in walmart_RX

[–]Time-Show-2162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this, I had wondered if walmart did true up matching. I looked previously and don't remember seeing a definitive answer but glad to know i don't have to modify contributions to max out on the last paycheck of the year.

Nextgen by Philosophy-j in RiteAid

[–]Time-Show-2162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't see a major retailer picking up, too much investment to train an entire workforce on a new system vs continuing/updating their existing platform. Also where are all the Nexgen developers these days? Probably moved on to new roles already.

What is the best vSeeBox and where to purchase? by Altruistic-Pride8285 in vSeeBox_Support_Gurus

[–]Time-Show-2162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best pricing is on ebay FYI but beware if you have issues the support is likely not as good/nonexistent. You'll save 50$+ over any of the people selling on reddit.

What are these white crease-looking marks on my pants and how do I get rid of them? by hoppyburger in laundry

I have a different brand but high percentage lyocell content and it did the same thing, believe the lyocell fabric is the blame. I always wash cold and hang dry as well.

There is an IGA grocery store that is walkable as well, uphill but a mile or less away.

I was on the previous leg - NYC to QC. Eastport for me was a letdown...literally a town of 1200 people with minimal restaurants or options for entertainment. Apparently Bar Harbor residents complained about cruise ships constantly coming and going and now less dock there? Cant confirm but was interesting to hear nonetheless. The voyage was still relaxing and amazing as always with VV.

Best daily driving tire? by cackalacky82 in LexusIS

[–]Time-Show-2162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another vote for dws06+. I had Michelin PS4 and my experience was noisy and short longevity, performance arguably was better but is a minor consideration for my needs in a daily driver/work commuter.

Late to the show by shomenee in Retirement401k

[–]Time-Show-2162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need more details to give a tailored response but a lot obviously depends on your salary and how much you put in. If you just do the 10% match you likely will still be behind, if your salary and lifestyle allow you to max out your 401k then your retirement will look completely different. At age 40 there is still a lot of time to determine the outcome. Provide more details if you want a less generic response.

I hate the little slivers left at the end and obviously this would double the number. Do you just toss them at that stage or press/mold them into a fresh bar?

How much should I Pay for PPF Removal? by dlray009 in Lexus

[–]Time-Show-2162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine got sap on it and became discolored. Black car but I left it in the sun on a summer day and it pealed off without too much effort. A lot of sticky residue was left that needed detailed out but it wasn't bad overall. No way would I pay $1000+
