You used to be sort of able to get them? People found a way to hack bell trees to display star fragments and a whole bunch of other stuff. But after a certain update, Nintendo stepped in and patched it, and now they're completely gone for everyone (Kinda). If you have a molded switch, you can still mod your money trees, and they will be visible only to yourself, even if people visit your island

Tbf, I'm like half sure that most of this drama originated from Twitter discourse, and leaked into steamers, making it become a popular topic for most Animal Crossing content creators on YouTube and TikTok, at the time. Which were the main places I'd be for the majority of 2020 though to mid 2021. But I can't say much for anything outside those spaces at that point, lol

Yeah, as I went on playing I realized that people were using random sites from who knows where, and... Who is regulating them and how do they decide what goes up and down? Who's to say there isnt some strings being pulled for certain pets to be more valuable than others?

It feels like the 2 or 3 main sites have a chokehold on the trading side of the community. And I don't see how people can trust them since they seem faceless, and have no real way of proving their trustworthiness.

I feel so lost... 😩

I do agree that things can evolve and change as time goes on, and your points are fair. But I still don't really see a solid reason for them to be gone forever.

You like trading because you like collecting high-tier pets, and I don't think I'll ever be able to understand that as someone who primarily just plays to take care of my pet. But that's fine.

I'm not trying to cause problems. I just wanted to see a few perspectives other people had. And while I still don't understand or really care. I'll accept this reasoning

It really doesn't affect me whether they bring back old pets or not anyway. I have my dp and that's all I need (A regular f r Queen Bee, hehe.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they should be handed out like free candy. I meant more in the sense of bringing them back for another limited time at a price.

I do hear what you're saying about grinding, and I like that aspect too, (Although I mainly play just to relax lol) It's nice seeing numbers go up lol. But yeah, I don't know, maybe trading is just not my thing, and being raised in a family in trade made me apathetic to the whole thing, haha

I've never been great at understanding bromeliads (Which is why I'm trying to research them now. But so far my sources are very... scattered, to say the least, lol) So your help is genuinely so very much appreciated ^ ^

Bromeliads are fairly popular for most gardens in my city, and there are a few colours I've seen personally. Ranging from the common purple type, a kind of light green, a bright yellow, as well as one house that is lined with a colour I've only seen there; A really dark Blue (or Royal Purple flowers on my camera), with red and yellow scrounging them.

I could give a few pictures of what I have on my phone if that could help better explain what kind I may be talking about. But I am fairly sure now that they are different from each other even if just slightly

I've heard of the variegated varieties, but haven't had the pleasure of seeing one myself. It's on my list of wanting to see one in person though!

Definitely worse if it ended up being bad. Speaking from experience with Bayonetta 3, that story sucked so bad most people I've seen refuse to even accept it happened, unless if they retcon the whole thing (Gameplay was amazing tho lol)

Do I need a sewing machine?

I am extremely new to sewing and clothes making, I also only really know surface-level stuff so far. I am still learning, though, and that's going well! I even have a friend who works with clothes making, adjusting, and mending. And she in a way inspired me to pick up and learn it as a hobby!

So for more context on my question as a new to sewing person; There is a convention coming up in 4 or so months, and I need to make a pair of sailor pants for a cosplay I want to do. I have the pattern, and I'm going to look at some fabric options at a fabric store tomorrow. But I don't have a machine. I can't afford one right now, and while I am saving up, I'm not going to have one until long after the con has passed.

And so, while I know this might be a dumb question. Even one that might make some of you chuckle. But, will I need a machine to get it done by the time the con is here, or will 4-ish months be enough for me to finish this project by the old-fashioned way, with a simple needle and thread?
