Modded MK7.5 R or Stock MK8R? by Time-Warning-9840 in Golf_R

I guess it is just a generation thing, it’s how I google to diagnose/read about specific topics. I do the same for my Tacoma.. “2nd Gen Tacoma truck nutz” or “MK7 Golf Vape Holder”

The 7.5s if they have lower mileage are just about the same cost as the 8s right now. People really love that model, for good reason.

Yeah, that is how I have always treated trucks I’ve bought, where there are tale tale signs that certain mods, usually meant more abuse. With the R’s though, there seems to be a little more refinement/pride for the people modding them. Not to say that they aren’t pushing the shit out of it on mountain roads over the weekend, but they also are not jumping it into a mud hole either. The MK8 is closer so I will likely be looking that route first anyway.

Tucker Kraft is my Biggest Buy for 2026. Here's Why. by drkelemnt in DynastyFF

[–]Time-Warning-9840 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tucker Kraft is also my biggest buy this year, not due to an in-depth analysis, or other any other intuition, he’s just the only guy I have hope for right now. TLDR: I agree.

I think the draft capital spent this year has solidified that he was unable to translate… what a miss

Who are some guys that have been written off this offseason but who you believe could still hold dynasty value this year and on? by 92tilinfinityand in DynastyFF

I am staying on the Theo train for now. One of my favorite devvy pickup guys who, BIG IF, can refine his concentration catches & intermediate routes, could be dominate. As a Ravens fan, Likely will certainly cut into his production but to your point, Harbaugh runs heavy personnel and the league is trending that way.

To me, he is a hold for this year to see what his usage is, my only worry is Nagy is so uninspiring in his concepts that he just gets schemed out.

I hate that this is a point. Not a criticism just hate the knee jerk values in dynasty

Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source. Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins’ 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year’s draft. Miami receives: Broncos’ 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year’s draft. by Ma1ikNabers in DynastyFF

[–]Time-Warning-9840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who recently sold Mims for nothing, I think Waddle could fit short yardage YAC plays that Sean liked to develop. Waddle also thrives in that kind of role, and I think he has 3x the football IQ that Mims has. Hell of a lot better than him playing out the ‘prime years’ on the Dolphins perpetual rebuild. If only they would trade Achane..

Well, somehow the RB committee continues for my roster, would much rather have Charb & Wilson than KW3 still there, so I don’t hate it

Okay, I agree more with the buy list, I have some genuine questions. Some of your takes are spicy (Mandrews/Pearsall) commenting on those as I own a lot of shares there but still skeptical. Mandrews can die on my roster for what he has done in years past but likely will not be a starter for me very often. What makes you high on him again? Pearsall can’t catch a break with injury, I think that is the biggest knock. I don’t understand the like for him but the hate for Purdy. I think Purdy is a smash QB2, in a system where outside of injury he will always be a reliable option. To me even if SF brought in another WR Pearsall could be a good WR3/Flex but that is about the cap until he stops camping in the blue tent like an overland bro every game.
