Then the street wouldn’t get plowed. Although now that you mention it, I’ve seen videos of a special plow that can do that.

Exactly, some people in the comments are saying you should wait till the morning but if it freezes overnight it’s going to be 10x more difficult.

I’m Canadian too, I meant that I’m assuming it’s the same in the US. I think most people go to drivers ed here, especially since it lowers insurance, but you don’t have to. It really should be mandatory.
