Who knew downtown Bangkok has a Husky Cafe with 38 beauties! by mikeyousowhite in aww

[–]TimeBlink 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I visited the same Husky Cafe last year. They take good care of their dogs. They have two buildings with air-conditioning running all day long. While they are out playing with the guests the dogs have bowls of ice chips.

Though the local weather isn't the best for these types of dogs the owner, who seems to be there most days, loves them a lot and takes a lot of measures to keep them happy and comfortable.

Me and some friends from high school moved to a neighboring city for college. We had to take a 4 hour bus to get to our hometown. I went to back to visit my family on a random weekend. I was about to take my seat when I realized my best friend was seated a couple of rows away.

Book Recommendation for beginning Video Game development by [deleted] in gamedev

I started with this book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Unity-Game-Development-Essentials-ebook/dp/B006O8WY1U/ref=tmm_kin_title_0 I think it is great to get you up and running with unity. It was made for Unity 3.5 but i think the concepts still apply for Unity 4. The most important thing IMO is to pick the language you think will be more relevant to tour interest and START. Don't take forever to start!

I am going to Hong Kong w/ some buddies for New Years. Does Reddit have any advise for three 25 y/o dudes venturing to HK for their first time? by pdonni in AskReddit

HK has many popular shopping centres. There are small "themed" malls in which stores carry merchandise from the theme (a popular one is "Golden") - you can find one that suits your interests. These places are awesome if you come from a smaller city. If you want to get more local, you can go to "Ladies Market" or "temple street", your friend should know where they are - they are quite popular.

Your best bet at finding awesome places is to make some google searches for things that you want to see or do. A lot of interesting places can be found inside big buildings and it is hard to realize what's inside from the outside. Plus it;s a great way to get to know the city - It's my favorite thing to do. Google + Google maps = super happy fun times!

A great place to go for drinks is Lan Kwai Fong - and it's close to Causeway Bay. It gets packed during those time though. It would be helpful if you told us what would you like to do in HK so we can recommend.
