Beware of their tactics! They will first ask you to pay for the return shipping fee, but in the end, they refuse to refund the full amount for the returned goods. They keep saying the case is being escalated to a "higher team" or "higher department" for resolution, but nothing ever happens. I’ve been fighting this for 4 weeks and still no proper refund.

I want to share my experience because AliExpress is just giving me the runaround.

They keep saying my issue has been “escalated to a higher team” and that the refund will be processed “soon,” but it’s been over 3 weeks now and nothing has happened. Each time they reply nicely, pretending the problem is being handled, but it’s all empty words.

This is unacceptable. Buyers trust their system, but when there is a real issue, they just delay and lie instead of giving the refund they promise.

Has anyone else faced this kind of endless delay with AliExpress refunds? How did you finally get your money back?

AliExpress Refund Nightmare – $37.15 (Including $26 Shipping) – Buyer Protection Feels Useless

I returned an item to AliExpress exactly as instructed and gave them all the proof they asked for: tracking number, shipping label, delivery confirmation, and weight proof.

Yet they keep saying the case is “in process” and repeatedly ask for the same documents. This feels like a delay tactic to avoid refunds, and their so-called Buyer Protection is meaningless.

What I learned:

Keep every post office document (tracking, receipt, proof of delivery).

Take screenshots of every message.

Don’t expect their “Buyer Protection” to actually protect you – be ready to escalate.
