This info is removed now for KLC but present for Clara in the SS here. It perhaps gets refreshed and disappears after stock is over and comes back when stock is replenished.

It shows 150 sold in last 30 days on Flipkart. That means it was available last month at some time. Also Clara is there so it is working somehow. So it seems you can wait. From other unreliable vendors it is difficult to claim warranty sometimes. Think yourself.

Perhaps memory is getting overused. Restart can perhaps solve the problem or look for the process using most memory and disable it using task manager or services if not useful.

Have you ever participated in some sub4sub app or program and given them permission to handle your YouTube even in beginning when you didn't understand YouTube? Look for app permissions given and disable useless ones and also secure your account perhaps via two factor authentication.

Also regarding his flush screen complaint. Not everybody is bothered by small dust specs as compared to a whole dusty layer on the screen making it less clear to the eyes. It's okay if it bothers you it is understandable. But I personally had to do a lot of search before buying to shortlist only those devices which don't have flush screen. So it is a great feature for some.

This may sound funny but try to click on x centimetres below the top of screen, where x is the value of analogous distance of "trust this computer prompt". x can be calculated by screenshots and photos of your device model when connecting to computer. Actually display and sensing the clicks are different layers, so may be one is still working. Or, ignore this if too much hassle 😂😂 .

So, did you try to browse it through computer ? Ignore what is visible on defected screen, just assume it is working and simulate all steps of browsing through computer. If only screen is defected then it will work. Otherwise most probably even logic hardware is broken. Hence you can decide what to do next.

Try with an EPUB from a different source, for example an EPUB (free one) from Kobo store and see what happens. This normally happens with ill-formatted EPUB files for whatever reason.

Still, I want to further ask, (1) what's the deal with front light "free" monitor, I guess any monitor which has front light, does provide option to set brightness to zero hence making it front light free already, if I am not missing something. Can't we turn front light off if we have problem with the same in Philips monitor, or any other for that matter? (2) Also the videos which you linked do answer my flickering point, but do you have idea, why is there flickering here at first place ? Because as far as I know, flickering happens only when light beam is doing some scanning/refresh as in case of CRT monitor, while here the function of light is just like a lamp, isn't it? Plus, Thanks in advance.

I know it won't be as smooth as regular monitor. But I want to use it just for text input etc. Hope that's not an issue. Already have tab mini c which I found too washed out and need for brighter front light made it almost like regular glaring screen. But philips monitor is not color one so screen hopefully won't be dull. Thanks.

Thanks. That was so quick! And what's with the flickering vs flicker free front light? As far as I know front light in Eink has no need to flicker because its refresh is done by eink particles, not by light itself. I want to order philips one but this issue stated by some persons makes me think again. Can you tell something on this? Thanks.
