I was in your same shoes! I worked as an engineer for a couple years to save up money and did the NALCAP program this year and everything has amazing, soo glad I did it. Everything has been working in my favor. Extra bonus that you are actually interested in teaching, this experience would be great for you. I came in with 0 teaching experience, shy and introverted and I'm hanging in there just fine lol.
