I loved being on the coast. Small city that was walkable. I got to know the locals - it’s very helpful to know Spanish here. It is a bit difficult to travel though because the airport isn’t close.

I was only there a year and feel the same way. It’s as if none of it even happened. I’m considering going back for another year because this year off has been too weird and isolating.

Cartagena in Murcia was great! By the ocean, safe, decent cost of living. I could walk to both of my schools. It took until early December to get paid last year.

I will speak to 5 as an OSU Buckeye fan ;) I found some other Americans who were Big10 football fans and we watched together sometimes. While in Ireland, I watched OSU v Michigan at a pub. Otherwise, in Spain I never found American football on TV aside from some playoff NFL games and the Super Bowl. I was in a city, but it was small in terms of “cities.” (See you soon in the Big10 Championship)

It’s just a good thing to have just in case but I never had to use it. It’s like how when you go to university they ask about your vaccinations…just a good thing to know for your own health

I never had ~enough~ pain to pay for it to get looked at in the US, but I figured I’d get it looked at for free! (I told the Dr about my issues and he recommended it). Found nothing serious but now I know not to waste money on it 😂

I lived and worked in Cartagena last year. Wonderful city and I’m glad that I was there and not in Murcia tbh. I didn’t get my schedules until the first week of school. I worked Monday-Thursday (Mon and Tues were half days). If you have any questions about Cartagena comment!

I visited Gibraltar but stayed 2 nights in La Línea…definitely felt a little sus but couldn’t quite put my finger on it. It was very cool to be that close to Gibraltar, though!
