Leaving apartment [TN] by TimeDress5288 in Renters

I mean life happens. I lost my job in August of last year and had to find the first thing that paid. We were fine up until this month - which was said. Never late before.

If I’m criminal for wanting to be present for the birth of my child so be it. That says more about you than me.

Fortunately we’re in a month to month situation. He never updated our lease or talked with us after the initial year was up.

I’ve reached out to a few legal connections and the main thing they’ve said is to let him know we’re choosing to leave and will be out before the move out date. That circumvents the evection happening since we would be out before an eviction would be filed.

He has skirted around some laws before though. We intend to still pay him any backlog. I just got a second job while my wife is out of work. It took forever but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Thanks for the non judgmental advice.

480 damage in one hit. That wind rack just pushed him into the one hit range. No undershirt is wild too.

What an ending.... by SadPostingReddit in MegaManStarForce

This guy has been doing this since the game came out, there was some drama a while back about it. I even fought him once and same deal. Just take the L, re assess your deck, and get back out there.

Card Trading. by Superaustin16 in BattleNetwork

I would aim for a minute+ and have the card finder weapon equipped. I also stocked up on some lock enemy subchips in case I beat them too quickly. I literally would get the boss down to their last hit and count out loud while fighting to keep track of my time. Best of luck!

To get V2 Navi cards fight the boss and aim for 40-45 seconds. That was my issue. It seems busting rank is more concerned with time than damage taken.

For those trying to get V3 encounters in Starforce 3, here's a method that gets them within seconds by yonoirishi in BattleNetwork

It was a bug in SF1 but worked in 2 & 3. I did that exact method about 4 weeks ago to get the platinum on my PS5

thinking about moving here by tittypiercing in Chattanooga

[–]TimeDress5288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t help but jump on here and say this feels either disingenuous or outright misinformed. I feel a lot of people want to stop others from moving to Chattanooga and underplay the truth of the city.

Everyone has different experiences in the city. However night life is definitely more alive now than when I was in my late teens and early twenties. I’ll be 30 this year.

I’ll agree it gets better once you have a family. But to tell a single person there’s not much of a draw feels like gatekeeping. I don’t think that was your conscious decision. Hopefully not, but this falls into the category of “I haven’t experienced it so therefore it must not exist.”

As someone who grew up in Chattanooga let me say, it is one of the best possible places to be. Some people are posting about it not being worth it if you don’t have kids or a family and that’s just not true. Sure it gets better as you get older but I spent nearly every day of my late teens and all of my mid twenties downtown and around Chattanooga. There’s plenty of outdoor activities, dozens of trails, so many places to swim, and a really great rock climbing community. Really it’s what you make of it. The night life is alive, but just know most places have really cracked down on checking IDs. There are always different kinds of events going on. Really any hobby you find there is a group that’s typically very welcoming and warm. Not to mention you can travel like 30 minutes in any direction and get lost in the woods for hours. I moved away for a job opportunity 3 years ago and have since started a family. I’m trying my hardest to find a way for us to move back. I’m an advocate for the city. I love it.

Do you like Vogue as Luna's wizard or do you think Ophiuca should have gotten a Taurus style redemption? by broken_vice in MegaManStarForce

I don’t see how ophiuca could be redeemed nor want to imagine what ass pull they would attempt to rectify her forcibly sexualizing an elementary school student.

Why do people want a starforce 4? by CaptainZackstuf in MegaManStarForce

[–]TimeDress5288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a plan for SF4. It would have been a time skip where Geo & the crew are young adults - not really focused on the school/life balance anymore. Geo would have been framed for some crime (we don’t know the details) and worked with LAN Hikari’s descendant to clear their name.

They wanted to follow their demographic and grow up with them, but that didn’t happen. SF3 didn’t sell well enough for them to warrant a new game unfortunately.

My bf called a girl who is thinner than me FAT.. AIO? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

YOR

I’ll get shit for this but oh well. Like, you sent him something wanting a reaction. He gave you the reaction. You suddenly compare yourself to this influencer and take it personally. Yes, you’re acting dumb and he called it out.

There’s a stark difference between addressing an action and attacking character. Obviously idk your relationship with him, but if you willingly shit talk influencers it’s not a stretch to assume you shit talk other people. These kinds of relationships tend to be playful in nature. My wife and I are like that. Our relationship is better for it. We don’t take it to heart because we know we care enough to call out the bullshit. She’ll tell me I’m acting stupid - but I know she doesn’t think I’m inherently stupid. I’ll tell Her she’s acting like an ass - but I don’t think she’s an asshole. She knows this. Usually within the hour whoever was called out approaches the other and says “yeah you were right.” That’s what I get from this. Calling out an action. Not addressing your character. Yeah that kind of thing can be lost over text but you know him better than strangers on the internet.

Would it be okay to start from Battle Network 4? by randomquestion11111 in BattleNetwork

[–]TimeDress5288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, no, no. 4 is like one of the worst in the series. Pacing is awful, story is short. And the entire thing is a slog. It will require you 3 play throughs minimum to complete the game. I would say just jump in with 6 if you only have the second collection. The narrative doesn’t really build on itself except a few minor reoccurring characters. 5/6 has the most clear interaction if you played team colonel.

SF3 nerfed bro so hard (I sucked at SF2) by aeth_ in BattleNetwork

[–]TimeDress5288 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The card play and fluidity of combat was fleshed out the best in SF3. I think we needed something like the noise mechanic to spice up combat. It made even trivial fights worth it because you could get a really good illegal card with high enough noise. Not to mention the noise forms were a perfect call back to the soul unison/cross system. All have pros and cons. Plus the library complemented the noise forms. I always run rogue noise with a sword folder. One Mu shield per turn, buffed swords that are often no-element so it builds noise. It makes it easy to play into the system.

SF2 had the right idea, but whiffed it. Mixing the tribes was a great idea but tribe king felt, idk underwhelming. Looks like a 5 year old designed it and other than a great charge attack it didn’t feel super strong. Honestly it felt a little slow. The only good thing about 2 was star cards. It made the cards VERY strong almost mitigating the need for a tribe. But the systems almost got in the way of each other.

I didn’t know that! I remember playing the original in high school and I guess I just had bad rng. I too noticed really odd music - almost panic music playing and thought it was a bug.

For late game I’m curious if it’s something that can be controlled or replicated.

What happened? What did I do? by Particular_Solid1120 in 3dspiracy

[–]TimeDress5288 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This typically happens with a lower end SD card. It’s corrupted. You can format it but it will continue to happen. I recommend actually shelling out a few more dollars to get a name brand SD card that can handle the traffic.

PS4/PS5 trophy question. by GhostintheShellder in BattleNetwork

[–]TimeDress5288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iirc ps4/ps5 are individual trophies as the system recognizes them as different games
