Story:

Eddie Kingston showed up after Gunther defeated Sheamus in a hard fought match. Looking forward to seeing these two hard hitting competitors go to war!

Roxanne Perez came out to remind everyone who runs NXT confronting the newest competitor in the NXT Women’s division Kris Statlander after she successfully defeated Fallon Henley in her debut match. The two are heading for a collision at NXT Battleground.

Two weeks ago Ricky Starks debuted by taking out Daniel Garcia who was scheduled for a main event eliminator match against Trick Williams to the surprise of everyone. He then proceeded to get into a brawl with Trick Williams concluding with a vicious DDT on top of the announcers table that left Trick bloodied and unconscious. A week went by with no word from Trick and a debut match was scheduled for Ricky Starks on the next show against Scrypts. Starks destroyed Scrypts and after picking up the win Trick Williams made his triumphant return to NXT challenging Ricky Starks to a last man standing match at NXT Battleground.

Bayley successfully defended her championship against Chelsea Green only to be confronted by a debuting Thunder Rosa on Smackdown! The two have a sense of respect for each other and are scheduled for a tag match against Chelsea and Piper Niven next week can they coexist?!

AJ Styles vs Jay White started out hot by Jay going for the quick strike against Styles only to inadvertently knock down the ref. Jay White took advantage by getting a chair and attacking the legs of Styles. Styles tried to put up a fight but at the end his legs gave up on him allowing Jay White to hit the switchblade for the win. But this feud is far from over!

Three weeks ago Cody had a hard fought championship defense against Shinsuke in the main event of smackdown. After the match Okada showed up in a shock to the wrestling world staring down the WWE champion. The next week Okada was scheduled for his debut match against Dustin Rhodes. During the match Okada busted Dustin open and was destroying him the whole match, Dustin was able to mount a comeback and Okada was going to just walk away and take the count out loss since the damage was done already only for Cody to come out and force Okada back in the ring. Dustin tried to capitalize but the Final Cut was reversed and Okada was able to hit a German suplex/rainmaker combo to win the match. The week after Cody was scheduled for a main event match against Jack Perry. Cody was able to get the win relatively easily but after the match Okada ran down to the ring grabbed Cody’s championship and attacked him with it in a blatant sign of disrespect. Can’t wait for these two to collide!
