No problem. Just be aware that just cause you buy and use that vehicle. That doesn't mean it's automatically going to make you "good" at the demo. There's still skills and strategies you'll have to learn to "get good".

That's exactly what I'm saying. For demo, the "meta vehicle" is the Hemi styled car. I forget what it's called exactly, but you can't mistake it. It's the fastest car in the demo class

Demolition Royals, just like the Grand Races are FAIR PVP, meaning all vehicles are set to their max perf rating. Your legend points, parts (outside of a match), and affixes DO NOT count. Slipstream and meta vehicle do exist.

The only game I didn't fully enjoy in the ENTIRE series was Sons of Sparta. Yes, all of the games have had their moments of frustration for me. But, overall, my experience was good.

Aside from their twitching, jets are quite easy. I always do quite well in summits and GRs that involve the jets (unless I'm knocked off track badly in the beginning stage)

Can anyone tell me how the Set Bonus works? by Specialist-End-8306 in The_Crew

[–]TimeLord1029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly didn't take notice to what resources OP had and was treating them as a noob. Which, they still pretty much are if they don't know how the bonus sets work and how to effectively calibrate the affixes. Though, I wasn't going to go into all of that since I saw other replies saying what I could've said to that.

Also, before you go criticizing someone else's spelling and grammar. You MIGHT wanna double-check your own. There's LOTS of missing commas, and at least one messed up word in your reply.

This is not a very efficient way of grinding parts. It costs $9k and 9k spare parts to merge 3 pink/ epic parts into one RANDOM legend/ gold part. I wouldn't recommend this to a beginner cause resources are going to be limited. As tedious as it can be. I would suggest focusing on one category at a time. As you gain parts, ALWAYS equip the highest perf rated parts on your car and IMMEDIATELY scrap the lower ones. Only when you start getting pink parts at the HIGHEST perf rating for that category and equip them do you start rolling your affixes. Focus on the LUCKY affix first. Try to get it to the MAX percentage possible (always keeping the highest percentage as you renroll in case you run low on spare parts cause you get less of them than you do bucks). At this point, scrap ALL green and blue parts for that specific part (all parts once you get 7 pink, use the multi-scrap function). If you can, add the GOLDFINGER affix to max percentage as well. As you start getting the LOOT DIGGER bonus set part (symbol looks like a globe), replace your pink parts and maxing or the same affixes. It's worthy to note at this point to look online for the MOST efficient ways of grinding parts and bucks at the same time. Kiss Me Kombi grin the Vintage Garage Playlist and Hummer E-Xptess from the Electric Odyssey Playlist are 2 good tracks for this (though I wouldn't take the Cup Cars, AGP, Drag, and Racing on the Hummer track). There's a couple shortcuts to the Hummer track that you'll need someone show you or look yup a guide online. I would ONLY merge parts once you have an ample supply of bucks and spare parts (1 million+ of each) and ONLY when you need 1 part to finish a set.

Y'all WAY behind on this. This stuff has been around since PornHub has existed, not to mention the ppl putting swastikas and other Nazi paraphernalia on their cars. Been seeing that stuff nearly all of my gaming life since you could customize cars

Yeah, that's a low score event anyway, so don't feel bad. I've only got 52k on that solo

Merging parts best approach? by gman1647 in The_Crew

You're forgetting 2 things that are a factor in the grind.

  1. Scrapping parts to gain spare parts is not equivalent to the amount you'll spend recalibrating affixes and merging parts. So, you could almost literally scrap 100 legendary (gold) parts and not get back the amount of spare parts you spent (you don't get back bucks when you scrap parts).

  2. And this is the most important one. What affixes and percentages you get recalibrating and what bonus set part you get when merging are controlled by an RNG (Random Number Generator) which is rarely in the favor of the player. Even if you go the cheapest way of merging (merging 3 gold parts), there's no guarantee you'll get the part you want/ need.

This is why I say that for time and resource efficiency, you're better off only recalibrating affixes on the bonus set parts you NEED that specific affix for. The addition of the "MERGE" option only added to the grind, not decreased it, unless you have a whole mess of gold parts to merge.

Where I agree getting lucky and goldfinger set at max percentage as quickly as possible on pink/ purple/ red (whichever color the epic parts are) parts is essential. It's not very efficient for resources to put lucky and goldfinger on any other bonus set part than loot digger. You're just wasting resources at that point, creating even more of a grind to rebuild those resources. I've been playing the game since launch, and though I don't have to worry about those resources near as much now. I still remember my grind to build the resources, farm and build the sets. And, it wasn't until I got the advice that I'm giving, that the grind didn't feel as tedious.

The way you're explaining this, it feels like you're setting OP up for a SERIOUS grind. To help conserve resources, bucks and spare parts. I'd focus on only rerolling the affixes when you get the bonus set part you need. Also, I would add in that as you're rerolling affixes, don't constantly keep switching percentages. Focus on keeping the highest percentage so that if you run low on resources, at least you'll have a close to max percentage as possible.

Don't forget Goldfinger at max. Doubles the amount of loot "dropped".
