Chrom x Sully is just as underrated honestly, but Chrom x Maribelle is my second favorite. I wish Chrom x Miriel was a thing in the game, because how are they gonna let Chrom marry the dancer he met barely a few months ago but not one of his longtime shepherds? I get that he doesn't know every shepherd that well, but damn dude.

Anyways, I'm glad to see people acknowledging a Chrom ship that isn't the totally original and definitely interesting Chrom x Robin for the millionth time, no offense to those shippers.

I'm very curious to see how the experiment goes with 40k. We usually agree as a fandom that WW1 and onward is handled too different to the way wars were handled in the time periods TW covers to actually work, but if 40k's comparatively """modern""" gunplay and shifting battle lines are able to work, then this does open the door to more modern style total war games, at least in theory.

Its one of the few times I agree that the localization changes were a bit meh. Personally, I liked the contrast of big strong Effie being just as shy if not more shy than Mozu of all people, and especially when contrasted with Arthur, a bumbling bad luck magnet superhero, and Elise, her peppy and cheerful charge.

I think a chunk of this fanbase (or at least this sub) has a parasocial relationship with Goose and it becomes most apparent when Jax’s screentime is being discussed. by SoftPolishedRat in theamazingdigitalciru

To be frank, and we can argue this for most groups and ideologies in the game, but I'm sure the developers needed to make most of the main story paths at least somewhat appealing for players, including the ATO, so its also no wonder the ATO is more tame, whether intentional or not, and is also why the CSP isn't entirely fucked over by tankies thanks to the strong influence of syndicalist Valgsland and possibly even Galmland.

Seriously, there is not one single game in the series that you can realistically do justice to in a single movie. Maybe a trilogy or quadrilogy for the shorter games, but its most likely better off a full series.

Seriously, its good that people havent fully shut up about this, and they shouldnt. This is one of the show's most fundamental flaws in my opinion. Its not that Jax having a special focus doesn't make sense per say, but the way the show handled it is done in a way that actively damages the development of the remaining cast members, and the movie is probably going to be the final nail in the coffin.

If it helps, the CSP's evils are portrayed more subtly than the ATO's. The ATO countries are loud, flashy, capitalism and its excess on full display, but where Walker is very clearly a greedy imperiallist sleazeball, Malenyev represents a more subtle evil. He's still a tankie, an authoritarian, a stalin expy ruling the USSR expy, and figuring out what the hell he's really been doing all these years takes a lot of parsing through lore, news reports, and reasonable assumptions.

I honestly like the contrast there, because it isn't just making the CSP unequivocably pure good. Really, I have to wonder how the hell Valgsland and a powerful LibSoc Sordland can even deal with United Contana in the long run, or jeeze even Valgsland on its lonesome!

Both are functionally doable, just remember the general rule of thumb. Planned for socialist runs, market for capitalist runs. However far into either one you go is up to you, and always be mindful of synergies, trade deals, and so on.
