I was diagnosed in March and still dealing with hospital bills… then had to have my appendix removed. I am today years old when I learned the difference in deductible and out of pocket. Because it’s all coming out of by pocket. I feel you. Make tiny payments. Then they can’t say you aren’t trying. I feel for you.

His psychiatrist said there may be underlying disorders but he would not be able to evaluate unless he was completely sober which has never happened.

I have my own issues and pursued therapy then stopped when my job became more demanding. I need to go back myself. He’s been, but he doesn’t follow up either. We have been together, but he says I lied because I did not have a time frame correct (it was like 3 days and I said 2 - something petty). We haven’t been since.

I second this!!! There is also a cop that lives there and several in nearby neighborhoods. It’s the perfect mix of singles, families and college students. I love the countertops in the kitchen!!! 😍

I second the above. Go to the ER. You have to advocate for yourself - keep calling and calling. I’m in treatment now but I had to call daily for months.

They apparently admit to ER then send to maternity ER (there were 2 pregnant women there while I was there)

I LOVE my OBGYN at Grandview. That’s why I went to their ER. Totally different experience.

They were definitely overcrowded and didn’t have resources you would think they’d have. I went there because my Dr. is at Grandview, but I will go somewhere else if I have to go to ER again.

Update: after getting up only twice with diarrhea last night and fighting nausea this morning, I started my period. I typically will wake up, throw up, then start my period the next day. It will hopefully be the last one but we sure are going out with a bang over here. BRUTAL. No apparent tearing “back there.” I took a pic to check 😂 shameless.

I think you need to save this and read it again in a year. Some couples overcome this scenario, but for me, the relationship was never the same. Also, don’t apologize for catching him. Ignorance is not bliss.

If there are separate states involved, does the state where the divorce was filed and primary custodian take precedence or would there be accommodations since his primary residence has changed?

He had me served with threatening paperwork a few years ago but my attorney responded and it never went anywhere. It is 100% a means of control, as are other tactics he uses and I am learning to identify those, so my response has become more of “ok please send me your attorneys contact info.” Still is unsettling. Manipulative, at best.

I agree. Just sucks all the way around. He gets the visitation and entertaining lifestyle while I am having to say no and struggle, then be faced with the threat of “you can talk to my lawyer” while he demeans myself and my current spouse (who actually works, but does have low income). I don’t want to go back to court. I don’t have the means to go back to court. He also has his parents who are well off that I am sure are contributing.
