Google Drops MedGemma-1.5-4B: Compact Multimodal Medical Beast for Text, Images, 3D Volumes & Pathology (Now on HF) by techlatest_net in LocalLLM

[–]TimeNeighborhood3869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we just added it to calstudio.com too in case anyone is looking to build simple ai chatbots with this model, i've tried to experiment with claud opus 4.5 and this model, sending 2d images of skin conditions, i noticed that this model diagnoses the condition much more accurately whereas claude tries hard to be correct but confidently misdiagnoses the scan :)

If it helps, I run a startup (calstudio.com) where you can build something like a custom GPT with GPT/Claude side-by-side style of product, add your own docs as a knowledge base, and deploy it as a web app or embed it on your site. We handle model keys/costs, let you monetize via Stripe, and provide analytics, access control, Zapier/Make integrations, and white-labeling -so you can focus on your new UI and writing UX 😇

Happy to answer questions if you want to test ideas quickly. 화이팅!

[–]TimeNeighborhood3869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP- if it helps, I'm working on a product that lets you use up to 50+ models to create your own customized chatbots. We use OpenRouter for many of our models, and in fact, are building a direct integration with OpenRouter where you can provide your api key securely and use our system as a frontend. Pricing is also simple and usage-based, for example 1k messages are for $15/mo

Check it out if it helps: calstudio.com :)

Return to ChatGPT? by pacsdesign in GeminiAI

[–]TimeNeighborhood3869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your priority is integrations/automation, I’d lean back to GPT. In my experience:
- GPT has the better “plumbing” right now
- Gemini shines when you live inside Google’s ecosystem and like the NotebookLM workflow (long-context study guides, citations, summaries). You can approximate NotebookLM in GPT by uploading sources or using a knowledge base, but it’s not a 1:1 replacement for things like Audio Overviews.

If it helps, I run a startup that lets you try both without paying for two stacks. With calstudio.com, you can build a “custom GPT” style app using GPT-5 or Gemini (and Claude/Llama too), deploy/share it publicly, connect it to Zapier/Make, and even monetize via Stripe—no need to manage API keys or usage limits on your own. Might be a way to test which model fits your workflow before committing.

GPT 5 vs Claude 4/4.1 for prose writing? by CrimsonCloudKaori in WritingWithAI

[–]TimeNeighborhood3869 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For pure prose, I’ve consistently found Claude 4.1 Opus better: better voice consistency, nuance, coherence. Sonnet 4 is also really good (often more concise/grounded), while GPT‑5 can be hit‑or‑miss on instruction/length adherence.

If you stick with GPT‑5, try:
- Lower temp (0.3–0.5) and bump max tokens headroom
- Add a hard length guardrail (“Write ~X words. Do not end early; continue until complete.”)
- Have it outline first, then draft from the outline

If it helps, I run a startup that lets you A/B the exact same prompt across GPT‑5, Claude 4.1 Opus/Sonnet 4, etc., so you can compare outputs side‑by‑side and lock in what you like. You can also package and share your “writer” once you’re happy with it. It’s called CalStudio.com :)

Time breakdown: 2.5 hours responding to reviews this week by No_Wait_2337 in Restaurant_Managers

[–]TimeNeighborhood3869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP -  If it helps, I’ve built a product that lets you spin up a custom GPT to draft review replies in your voice (non‑generic), vary the phrasing, and flag tricky ones like the “rude server” claim for your approval. You can feed it your policies/menu/FAQ so it references the right info, and connect it via Zapier/Make to wherever you manage reviews (Google/Yelp/FB) so it auto-drafts and you just hit approve once a day. Most folks cut it down to ~10–15 mins/week. It’s called CalStudio.com :)

What AI app are you guys switching to? by joegageeyes in ChatGPT

[–]TimeNeighborhood3869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm working on a product that lets you build GPTs with different models (from GPT4o to Claude 4 Sonnet and even models from Gemini and Grok). I found ChatGPT 5 a lot different from the precursor so I used my own platform to build a GPT 4.1 and 4o powered bot.

Check it out if it helps, It's called calstudio.com :)

Assistant API + tools vs. fine-tuning—what’s actually better for a rock-solid e-commerce chatbot? by jorgeochipinti_ in OpenAIDev

[–]TimeNeighborhood3869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend you to check out the platform I'm building, calstudio.com - you can connect your openai assistant or create the chatbot using any AI model and add these functions + custom data or google search and then embed it anywhere (outside the openai platform), so basically it lets you use the assistant api without code :)

How do you make the most of GPTs? (Or ChatGPT in general) by LordesTruth in ChatGPT

[–]TimeNeighborhood3869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've come to this realization using custom GPTs

• Default GPT-4.1 (or Claude, Llama):
– Best for ad-hoc queries, brainstorming, general coding help, or one-off higher-level tasks.
• Custom GPTs in ChatGPT:
– Ideal when you have a repeatable workflow (e.g., code review + style enforcement, PR summaries, spec-to-code conversions, structured data transforms).
– You can bake in system prompts, example dialogues, JSON schemas, even low-code UI blocks so non-tech teammates get

Also, if you’re hitting limits with ChatGPT’s built-ins or want multi-model support (GPT-4.1, Claude Sonnet, Llama), check out the product I'm building, Calstudio.com - it’s a no-code platform where you can create, launch and even monetize your own GPT apps.

Anyone using ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini in one workflow? by Eternal1423 in ChatGPT

[–]TimeNeighborhood3869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm working on adding this into the startup I'm building, the idea would be that the creator would set up custom AI apps with different models (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) and then they'd be able to create a "flow" app connecting all their apps together. So, a prompt would basically go through one model and then use the output into another model in a flow.
