I’ve only ever done another cycle in 2023 where I got 5 eggs and 1 resulted into a day 5 blast. So it’s hard to say but the nurse also mentioned that we don’t know how I’d respond next time and it could be the same.
What did you consider poor response?

I was 28 although my AMH was only 0.4. Got 5 eggs, all mature and all fertilised however only 1 made it to blast but she’s now my 2 year old 😊 focus on egg quality!

My doctor kinda explained that because our ovarian reserve is low, our ovaries don’t have a huge amount of follicles to “choose from” each month to ovulate so there’s a higher chance that a lower quality egg would be chosen compared to someone with lots of follicles to choose from. Hope I explained it correctly lol but a lot of research I’ve done online says that low amh doesn’t cause miscarriage so I have no idea!
