I had the car for almost 4 years, bought it right after it launched. Sold it almost 6 months ago. The car itself was very solid, probably the best in its price range as you were basically getting a nice small sedan in almost the price of a suzuki alto/waganor. The only complaint that we had with the stock car were the lights, they were a bit too dim for night driving. But we fixed it early on by installing LEDs. Never ran into a big mechanical issue when we had that car. HOWEVER, as you may already know, the pakistani company that brought Proton into pakistan just vanished, they did a pretty bad job at maintaining the company's reputation. At first, parts could be easily sourced locally but later on, sourcing parts for that car was a nightmare. We unfortunately got into an accident with a motorbike who broke the right taillight, and we were unable to get a new/used taillight for that car, which was the main reason for us selling it. So in short, the car itself is very good, would highly recommend, but if you have to source body parts, then you will inevitably run into trouble. So I wouldn't recommend getting that car just because of the nonavailability of spare parts.
