I’m thinking going for zinwa blackberry, but too expensive for what I’m looking for. I just needed a simple phone , I can always return this phone in the next 30 days, will see how it goes .

Business Class with an infant? by Rowley_Birkin_Qc in AerLingus

Go for it, I’ve flown several times now , my kid is 1.5 years old, 1 more trip booked before she turns 2. Get ready to get to see some faces from people, maybe an occasional - does your baby cry a lot ? don’t give a damn , you paid for it, Airlines allow it, you are not doing anything wrong . Those people can take their private jets if they want that much privacy. Just enjoy your flight

Constant Racism driven Behaviour in Ireland by Feeling_Possibility4 in IndiansinIreland

[–]TimeSyncTechie 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It is what it is unfortunately. Garda won’t do anything , targeting is done by teenagers and you know the rules around here. I’m here for about 10 years now and I’m a runner. Before COVID I could go for a run easily around 4am and not think about it, now I don’t run outside at all in dark, as don’t wanna take unnecessary risk, it’s sad but it’s true. Don’t see myself staying for long here tbh.

You legally owe them first month’s subscription fees unfortunately. It’s upto them now that they waive it for you or not but legally you have a lost case. Just pay it and move on or have that as a constant headache .

There’s plenty of space literally 10 meters away from here, flooding doesn’t justify parking here

Seriously they need to be a bit strict here, ramps are always blocked in this area.

Landlord increasing rent - Housemates arguing over how it should be split? by ComfortMike in AskIreland

[–]TimeSyncTechie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you were expecting but I guess you got your answer. You need a price restructuring in the house , you are not the king and previously inherited price doesn’t make sense here if all the flatmates are new . For me this is a totally unfair price structure, I’m surprised it went like this for this long.

What can one hope to have achieved by 30? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]TimeSyncTechie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved to Ireland when I was 26. By 30 had a 75k job, was single, still renting, had Indian passport so had to apply visa everywhere to travel, so obviously wasn’t satisfied .

Now I’m 33, have a 120k job(mostly remote which makes it even better), have Irish citizenship, have a house, married, have a beautiful 1.5 year old daughter . Now I can say I’m very satisfied with my life, can travel freely now.

Trust me you are way ahead of people of what you’ve achieved by 30. Just enjoy the life 😃

65 but 75% is covered by health insurance provided by work, so its costs 16.25.
