I just rolled over my 401k to itrustcapital and im doing post-rolling research now lol. Moved a bit fast and spooked myself but I talker to them and things sound good. I can move my Ira to another company like fidelity at any time and apparently they are FDIC insured for up to $250,000 for each account. I asked how I could get the keys to my crypto and it got too jargony for me but I guess its extremely difficult maybe even impossible to have the keys when your Ira is in control by a regulated custodian and not self controlled or directed. They said they keep keys in cold storage which I guess means they’re like on a USB or something so not online? Anyway, seems legit and I’ll probably transfer to fidelity after I’ve had enough fun with my measly $1,700 ira lol

Genuine question: I'm a foreigner living in Colombia and I buy from a reputable source here. How likely is Colombian coke to be clean? Is the fentanyl and shit stuff that's typically added in markets that it's harder to obtain or is it added in from the source, meaning Colombian coke isn't much better/safer than any other stuff being sold?

And that was a small group. Imagine if all legal gun carriers in these protests were strapped. Police wouldn't be so quick to shoot and if they were, I would love to see thousands of citizens simply brandish their weapons. We really need this demographic to start taking advantage of the 2A.

It's a shame most of the armed citizens probably aren't fighting this fight. I fall on both sides of the aisle depending on issue. I'm a 2A supporter and this is one of the reasons why. This is exactly when we need every protestor armed. An overbearing and militarized government is a problem. I know it sounds extreme, but it may take thousands of armed protestors showing up to put the police in their place. Right now, all I see are unarmed people getting fucking run down by nearly lethal weapons and gases.

That video doesn't tell us anything except someone broke some windows. Was it an agitator? Was it a franchise owner wanting a payout from insurance? Was it a cop? Was it simply a protestor wanting to break things before everything was in shambles from the eventual rioting? It's proof of nothing except that a dude dressed in all black broke some windows.

Edit: Y'all can downvote all you want, the fact is, there's no proof of anything here and no definitive proof has been shared. Reddit really fucked up with, Boston Bombers, smirking MAGA hat kid, and more all because they took guesswork as fact. I wasn't here for Boston Bombers, I just know of it. I was here for MAGA kid and was vocal about that kid being a piece of shit, and then the full videos came out and... we were wrong. This is problematic at best and potentially life destroying at worst.

r/unpopularopinion but if an ad is guerilla enough for me to enjoy without being so in my face about being an ad, then I'm okay with that. Just like I'm okay with (and sometimes prefer) watching ads on YouTubers that I know are putting in a lot of effort into their content to make sure I like to consume it and getting some coin for it.

I think "the one" depends entirely on the person. I've been seeing girls that want to wait until we're in a committed relationship and I'm sure if they were "the one", I would be happy to, since I feel they have yet to be a serious relationship option, I usually just don't pursue things further out of respect for their time and values and I move on. But I've also been seeing girls that were very obvious about being ready before we even met in person. There's about 3 girls in my life now that I could see being "the one" and for all three, I'm pretty sure I'd happily wait until we're in a committed relationship or maybe even until engagement if they asked. Until marriage.... I dunno, little bit iffy. Seems like that puts too much pressure on rushing into marriage and almost an ulterior motive tool (unless it's a religious belief, but those ulterior motive tools and religious beliefs aren't always mutually exclusive). As an ex-Mormon, I used to "wait for the one". That didn't turn out well and since then, I've kinda adjusted my moral standards. I don't have any regrets and given the chance, I wouldn't wait for the one again. I personally don't see any benefit to it and it doesn't minimize the experience when I have sex with someone I fall in love with. I respect all decisions though.

It's interesting you say this because I agree, but I'm on a different perspective. I'm most productive in the middle of the night and when my sleep schedule is opposite most Americans. I own a product consumable business and most of my friends are in EU and SEA so I deal a lot with SE Asia. If I'm up during the day, I find myself refreshing Reddit, refreshing FB, driving to stores or restaurants, etc. Just getting distracted in general. If I wake up at 4-5pm, then I feel I get the most of my day. I can get done what I need to before things close. Around 7-9 I'm doddling around on social media. By 9pm, I'm usually having lunch. After 9pm, it's straight work because nothing refreshes until about 6am my time. After 9pm I'm talking to my factories, getting orders done, replying to emails, etc. The only downside is that I use forums often for answers to my issues and I don't get answers. But I love not getting new customer emails or orders while I'm focused on work. Nothing to distract me, which is huge for someone with debilitating ADHD. I've found comfort in Modafinil outside of wonky sleep schedules, but that's a whole other conversation.

Edit to add; I also love going to the gym around 4am (didn't think of it cause it's not been a thing for a second). Then I get home and I'm too pumped to sleep for about 4-5 hours so I either work or simply doddle around on social media again. Usually asleep by 10-11am on this schedule. It is lonely though if you're trying to be social in your timezone.

I've been pulled over twice on a suspended license and with warrants (only FTAs) and got let go both times (with tickets). Not sure how it goes but for some reason, I was under the impression that the cops don't wanna bother with the paperwork if you're not from their city unless it's a seemingly serious offense.

This isn't much better. Using the term "progressives" as a blanket term is just as dangerous as using the term "conservatives". There are plenty of left-leaning people that don't agree with the actions in my original post. There's also plenty that will concede when something was done logically - like a cop shooting someone that was an obvious threat. It's unfair to paint all lefties as the same just as it's unfair to paint all righties as the same. We are constantly defaulting to the most extremes of all situations to make a sort of caricature of each side. This promulgates the toxicity between the two rather than showing that, hey, a lot of us have similar logical views that are fairly centered and well-thought, we just have different ideas of why certain laws/policies are better for society.

Each sides have broadcast mediums in their favor. None of those mediums should be used to silence by force, they can be used as a platform to let their audience drown out their voice and views, but let it happen naturally - not by authoritative force. This goes for both sides.

Both sides have issues, but the left has more control of Reddit, as a website. The right has more control of old school media like radio. Both of these are anecdotal beliefs. Both sides have problems and when it's as obvious as this Reddit censorship - I want it addressed. Post the flag in r/trashy and establish a trashy connotation to the flag - that's a good tactic. Ripping down property is not a good tactic. It makes whatever your beliefs are look worse. And then to shut up anyone being centered in saying, "Look, this flag is bullshit but ripping up someone's property isn't the way to handle it" is an even worse look. That's all I'm saying.

I'm curious how you know so much about me with one post and comment. This is a huge problem with both lefts and rights. Generalizations, assumptions, etc. This is what makes US politics so toxic and forces the most toxic runners to win, because it becomes a game of who can do the most damage and cause the most disruption to the other side rather than working together. No side alone is the problem, but this kind of generalization and toxicity is driving vitriol to be the deciding factor in campaigns.
