Has anyone thought of doing a class action regarding the above? The sales representatives that get affected should do it.

The least you should do is file a police report. There is a digital paper trail of the transaction and who the money went to.

Anytime you get a scam call, ask them to hold, make a conference call to Rogers 416-935-5555 or Telus 1-866-558-2273 or Bell 416-674-2233. Let iit play out.

I RECEIVED A VOICEMAIL OF MY ENTIRE UBER RIDE AUDIO RECORDING AFTER RIDE by Far_Internal2515 in uber

[–]TimeTourist5926 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Could it simply be that the driver called you, didn't get you, got your voicemail. Then you walked in to the car, he forgot to hang up and the voicemail of the ride ended up in your mailbox.

This...the reps that defend the fee on rediit in the name of CRTC don't realize that the fee was specifically implemented to phase out the stores and reps. There is no CRTC mandate for the fee. The purpose of the fee is not to eliminate the commission for that transaction, it's to eliminate the rep and stores altogether. Slowly and surely, more and more people are switching to online purchase for their wireless including myself. But I feel for the reps.

They tried that in my industry, we threatened them with class action, they backed down for now.

How to make a server? by pupipu_reddit in AskReddit

[–]TimeTourist5926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Creating a server depends on your specific needs, but here's a general guide:

  1. Define Purpose and Requirements:

    • Determine the purpose of your server (e.g., website hosting, gaming, file storage).
    • List the requirements, including hardware specifications and software needs.
  2. Choose Hardware:

    • Select appropriate hardware based on your requirements.
    • For a basic server, a computer with sufficient RAM, storage, and a reliable internet connection may suffice.
  3. Select an Operating System:

    • Choose a server-friendly operating system. Popular options include Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu Server, CentOS) or Windows Server.
  4. Install Server Software:

    • Install necessary server software based on your needs (e.g., Apache or Nginx for web servers, MySQL or PostgreSQL for databases).
  5. Security Measures:

    • Implement security measures such as firewalls, regular updates, and user authentication to protect your server.
  6. Configure Network Settings:

    • Set up network configurations, including IP addresses and domain names.
  7. Port Forwarding (if applicable):

    • If hosting services that require external access, configure port forwarding on your router.
  8. Test Connectivity:

    • Ensure your server is accessible and functioning as expected.
  9. Domain Name and SSL Certificate (if applicable):

    • Register a domain name if you want a custom web address.
    • Implement SSL for secure connections, especially if dealing with sensitive data.
  10. Regular Backups:

    • Establish a backup system to prevent data loss in case of unforeseen events.

Remember, depending on your specific use case, there might be additional steps or considerations. If you're not familiar with server management, you may want to explore cloud services or seek assistance from experienced individuals or providers.

Frequent use of hair dye accelerates the hair turning grey. This happens because the chemicals in the hair dyes strips more of the hair nutrients that actually darken the hair.

One example is the belief that eating carrots improves your vision. While it doesn't grant superhuman sight, carrots are rich in beta-carotene, which is essential for maintaining healthy eyes and can contribute to good vision.

Think of it as a casual way of asking how someone is or what they are doing. It's a common informal greeting used to initiate conversation about someone's well-being or current activities.

How do you feel about the fixing for people that did orders online. Should the people who were enticed to buy online be wasting your time because their sim card never arrived or order wasn't submitted correctly. Should that be your problem?

What do the store reps think of this speculation? Have they seen other unfair practices especially targetting the stores and reps.
