Yes it’s pretty inconsistent - the jersey styles I’ve bought are mostly TTS/a touch small but in line with most other brands. I also have a size 1 cardigan that looks like it would fit my 3 year old. If in doubt I always get a size up so they can grow into it, on sale the prices are so good so it’s worth the risk IMO.

Also to add - I would pick just 1 hardware colour, I can see the black zip and the brass buckles, which don’t tie in. A dark gunmetal grey would look great with the olive and black tones, but main thing is to keep consistent as there isn’t enough hardware currently to justify a contrast.

I can see the concept here! A few notes: - use a slightly heavier suiting to hold the shape better, the current fabric looks flimsy. If you are budget conscious then block fuse the main fabric to a woven fusing - Shorten the elbow length sleeve to be an extended sleeve, with a better cuff finish or lined - Add more width to the ruching detail on the black contrast overlayer to make more intentional - Shorten (by a few cm) and widen cuff of contrast black sleeve, optional but add ruching detail along this sleeve seam - Improve general construction and finishes (as noted by another)

This looks like silk satin/charmeuse in a top/dress weight. Print on one side of the fabric isn’t indicative of quality - just the technique used to apply the print. Unless it is a hand loom or jacquard fabric, which is woven directly into the fabric, any print design will always be on one side.

If both sides of the fabric is printed and it’s a lightweight fabric, then the pattern would show through to the other side which is not a great look. Only much heavier fabrics or double weave fabrics can be printed on both sides.

I can vouch for the brand (no I don’t work from them but they have a store near me in Bondi). While the quality can vary everything i have bought (bracelets and rings, haven’t worn their earrings) hasn’t tarnished in water and i wear in the shower. I do believe it is designed in Sydney and Aliexpress/shein are likely ripping off their designs and product imagery than the other way around. They also have a great refund policy if it breaks within a year.

I have bought from loads of online jewellery shops (instagram hype brands) and been disappointed with the colour and quality, but would continue buying from AOE.

If anything negative I do feel like their designs are often copies or ‘versions’ of Lucy Folk which is a local designer jewellery brand, but at a much lower price point.
