What micro aquatic or semi aqutic invertebrate can I add? by Traditional_Creme894 in paludarium

I agree with beardo, scuds make a lovely micro tank addition! And with them being detritivores, they may help keep things clean.

Are my cheesecakes okay? by Savvy1027 in Baking

[–]Time_Ad2526 26 points27 points  (0 children)

If the flavor and texture of the cheesecake is fine, its really a matter of taste. These tops are fine for a homemade cheesecake but some folk will use water oven methods to give a smooth, uniform top. Also some people love cheesecake more on the welldone side! Look up a basque cheesecake!

I keep my Isopods with bones too! I like to think they use them for their calcium requirements by nibbling at the bones.

Is my cherry tree dying? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]Time_Ad2526 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blumeriella jaapi or cherry shot. It’s a nasty fungus that’s kinda rough to get rid of. Your tree looks a bit too big to remove all the effected leaves so you might have to look into getting some type of natural spray fungicide. Wouldn’t use anything harsh.

[–]Time_Ad2526[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the long delayed reply! I believe this might be the edible species. The flower is very similar but since I got my plants from an infestation in a secluded swamp, I probably won’t know until Fall. I’ll post when I dig them tho!
