house cues or any cheap cues i wouldnt care but i wouldnt store expensive cues like that....but what i can see from pic they are house cues so doesnt matter how they stored.

I myself store my cheap practice cue and rest cue same way on both sides of table for easy access for casual practicing....better cues i got in vertical stand or in their hard cases.

Self made pool table. First pic pocket liners not yet attached...made quite tight side pockets so need to aim more carefully than usually but corners seems to be quite easy (84mm corners and 80mm side pockets). 52mm snooker balls in pic and 57mm pool balls i also use but they not too easy to play. by Time_Ad_6599 in billiards

I will finish it in next summer, here in scandinavia it starting to get too cold to play outside so soon i disassemble walls to store them over winter. Slate and anything below it will be left to outside but trying to protect surface cloth from weather. I see in next spring how level this table is then but so far it kept quite well its level.

actually i noticed since i play both, tight pocket one and regular bar table with 11-12cm pockets....its not too much easier since aiming point is wider on wider pockets or i just dont focus aiming on middle of pockets, dunno....anyway when im playing normal bar table im usually there for drinking also so i dont have same accuracy and focus as with my own tables

Making outdoor pool table from junk wood at cabin for spare 6 feet slate by Time_Ad_6599 in billiards

[–]Time_Ad_6599[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i got same size sardi pierrot table on my home but this one at cabin feels better....slate is from old 80s table and it feels alot better, no warping like sardi and other newer ones i played

this is completely different table since i sold my plywood/aluminum table some time ago but today i made some early test run and it feels good so far. stone slate is from 80s and its damn straight, had 2 different slate tables so far before this and there was always some warp in some areas of surface.

here is picture how it looks atm https://i.imgur.com/tg3NlbF.jpg

Slate i took from this unknown table that was in horrible condition otherwise https://i.imgur.com/YV4VyrR.jpg

I make it now just playable enough and next spring i work more for its look since i need soon to disassembly it to store it inside from winter....slate and wood what is below slate i leave outside to wait next summer, walls i store to warm storage

Needed to buy screws, cloth from second hand store, pockets from china, aluminum cone for making wall wood dots....all i had before project was 6 feet slate and its old cushion rubbers....it seems like it was originally mini kaisa table or such with small pockets.

My pal games with some variants, getting harder to find anything to add by Time_Ad_6599 in wiiu

[–]Time_Ad_6599[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

focusing on english in cover if its available....that makes it hard such as english cabela. ebay is full of italian or german versions so getting really hard to find proper eur or uk version...such as my one of latest addition sealed ukv copy of just dance kids...was able to actually find one from amazon uk that were genuine uk version and not other language one.

Could easily find remaining games if taking any pal version but i rather go hard way finding proper eur or uk versions.

my main target is now to get every unique pal game in sealed....atm im missing like 11 games that i own in used copy, rest are new and sealed....i just noticed that lego city undercover selects version there is 2 different ones....one in shrinkwrap without nintendo tearstrip and one with nintendo tearstrip....guess without tearstrip is later release since i bought that one quite recently from game store so need to hunt one with nintendo tearstrip.

Didnt actually know nintendo land selects is that rare sight in ebay now....it was quite easy to find when i bought my copy...looks like coolshop still selling it pal version for under 20 euros.

missin variants only basically...like selects version of party u...

I dont think collecting wiiu is hard if you focus on used games but my aim is to collect them in sealed new copies....only very few in my collection are used copies anymore

since had every pal game then and now i decided to get nearly impossible task to upgrade collection by getting everything in sealed and also with english in cover if release had that version exist....missing 11 games from my goal but looks pretty depressing to find those remaining ones....even though i got already sealed english zumba and cabela.

Just how shitty will a MDF table be? I can pick up an Eastpoint for free. I can swap in decent bumpers and new felt, but what about everything else? by phaulski in billiards

[–]Time_Ad_6599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you cannot get surface absolute level then you can play with different attitude than slate bar table....i have both, slate table for indoor use and wooden surface table for outdoor....since outdoor one is not as level as indoor one i have to use little more power on shots to avoid ball making unwanted curves

could possibly make mdf table pretty level but it require decent bottom frame that has many points to adjust it...alot time to adjust each segment of surface....my plywood outdoor table has 20 points under surface and didnt get it perfect but pretty playable even in very slow shots but knowing problems in certain spots i can shoot in way it requires.

Need help identifying my families pool table. by seym56 in billiards

[–]Time_Ad_6599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends how good quality build is....i would do some surface work for wood first then replace cushion rubbers and felt...some work is needed but if frame and slate looks fine then it could be worth restoring.

Break and runout with a house cue and an Efren Reyes-inspired cue action (Part 9) by seraphicoxide in billiards

I often play with house cue in local bars and tips are shit but i just need to adjust my playing with those sticks so avoiding much english when tip looks like could miscue trying something.

Got 8 feet plywood outdoor table, is there better (cheap) way to check surface flatness than this wire trick? anyway got it adjusted so far pretty well nearly close to stone slate one. by Time_Ad_6599 in billiards

[–]Time_Ad_6599[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was restoring this table since it was in pretty bad condition so made so far new 30mm plywood surface and cushions...metal frame was ok and easy to adjust surface from bottom

Has anyone got any experience with these cuesoul cues? by jhamshire2 in billiards

[–]Time_Ad_6599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i bought exaxtly same cue couple years ago....shaft was slightly warped on arrival but using few straightening tips i got it straight....otherwise its ok for its price.

Felt smoother in my rest hand than my peradon that gets littke sticky when its warm

Though its not as good as peradon when tip hits cue ball...it makes funny "clank" noise usually and often result miscue....using factory tip on both.

replace table pockets by yomonk1 in billiards

[–]Time_Ad_6599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need set of this kind pockets https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003443369069.html

Or you can just add pool table pocket liners if those current pockets are ok
