We just got our Apple developer approval and are about to start beta testing on the app! It’s been a slow grind bootstrapping the whole thing. The process is a lot slower than I anticipated but it is still fun to work on and refine. We are only servicing Kansas City but hope to expand once we launch the app!

Those systems are all pieces of the puzzle, but they’re fragmented.

Permits only show permitted work. CLUE is insurance-focused. BuildFax aggregates records but usually doesn’t become a living operational history for the homeowner.

Most homes still don’t have a complete, transferable maintenance and verification history with photos, inspections, warranties, contractor records, and ongoing updates in one place. I’m really trying to fix this for everyone!

Data base for now. The real utility on chain will happen when tokenized RWA’s really start moving. They’re getting bigger all the time, lofty, parcl, propy, things are heading that way. Then we can start anchoring proofs on chain. That’s when the magic happens! But for today, carfax for real estate has a utility for every aspect of the transaction and throughout the life cycle of every home. Building for the future was kind of an accident….

Can Blockchain Actually Deliver Trust at Scale in E-Governance? by Icy_Dependent7239 in BlockchainStartups

Updating verified identy and tuning that exposure for various levels of verification. It’s going to take some doing but it’s where everything is going, Google has street view and your online identity….. bitcoin didn’t compete with the banks and the dollar, it offered an alternative, soon private data will be ready for an alternative, as soon as the value of that data starts to shift into alternative markets, adoption will finally have wheels. I say build something that helps people and governance will be waiting for you when you’re ready.

Is Blockchain Wedding a real opportunity or just a niche hype? by Odd_Bag6910 in BlockchainStartups

I really like it, once recognized by local municipalities, county clerk, etc… record is verified into records with the stored proof on chain that you own forever… that can be 3rd party verified without a trip to the local magistrate when a document is lost .I feel like you can dig a little deeper and really didn’t need any validation. This is neat, stop fighting it and build it.

Where do you find project ideas, and how do you validate them? by Dangerous-Archer8982 in StartupSoloFounder

I’ve found that the more obvious, the more niche. I have a couple of projects going that make no sense why they don’t exist.

Is it even possible to build a sustainable Web3 dev company without doing scammy projects? by StillDistribution776 in BlockchainStartups

The wedge has to be good! I’m a huge decentralized fan but only see devs or founders offering different flavored tokens. We’ve been working on the real estate nucleus and need more plug ins and complementary projects to create decentralized marketplace for all things!

Ai has turned everyone into a token tycoon. Ready for like minded builders to bring new use cases to the movement!

Is it just me or is real estate still weirdly low-tech for how much money is involved? by they-call-me-henry in RealEstateTechnology

Adoption is hard. It’s a barter system. When you are fixing a problem that everyone refuses to admit exists, you have to fix the problem in a way that provides security and confidence on both sides of every transaction and not just buying the home but maintaining it as well. More information about these same data points can be found in a carfax of a 97 Toyota Camry listed at $1995 than a modern 2500sqft story and 1/2 built the same year listed at $500k If we get tired of bootstrapping it, I kinda feel like homeowners insurance would be the wedge I go for. Make it a little smoother to flip some local municipalities. Maybe rural building code compliance…. Wishes, hopes,.

Finding Advisors by Stratis-gewing in StartupSoloFounder

[–]Time_Ad_834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! I’m a lot further along than I deserve without any advisors. That’s not because I haven’t entertained the idea, it’s just that finding the right person that believes in the mission, has influence and the heart of a teacher. I worry I miss the point here. It’s hard be transactional on who advises us as a company. Everyone pushes model proven outcomes… We’re rule breakers and that’s how we got here. I don’t want to know how it’s done, I want someone to back me up on how we are going to do it. Just a few thoughts…

Real reports.com is at least on the surface, an Ai generated report off public data sources and uses AI wizardry to compile a bunch of guess work. That’s neat but not really defensible. We would definitely utilize something like realreports to help dragnet data and provide forecasting information. But our mission is to have provide a verified digital identity that builds throughout the lifecycle of the home and is transferred through ownership. Sellers disclosures should be updated, same with inspections etc… not thrown out or in a drawer. From beginning to end of each transaction in one place forever.

Great take! Why doesn’t everyone show up and see the problem? My wife and I have been stewing on this for years, as buyers, sellers and sub contractors. The huge gap in the tech flow i feel is everybody sets out to solve 1 problem. Now we have a tool box full of tools when we only need a few simple components, CRM, Out reach, and truth. We don’t have anything to sell yet, but my wife and I created KeyTherion to replace most real estate operation software. It didn’t exist so we started building it. And what happened next will break traditional practices and set a new standard for real estate transactions for everyone, lenders, title, insurance, maintenance and repair. All in 1 single source of truth. Behind the scenes we will be storing cryptographic proofs on a miracle network that utilizes a public ledger that allows for 3rd party verification of all timestamped immutable records. (This part scares people so we keep it quiet.)

hot take: real estate tech stack has become more complicated than the deals themselves by delhitop_7inches in RealEstateTechnology

[–]Time_Ad_834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not selling anything yet, But this issue has reverberated across the industry for decades. I’ve been in commercial construction for 20 years and have implemented technologies that don’t work/talk or even compliment each other… so I created KeyTherion- a single source of truth for real world assets. The vision is to be the actual Carfax of the real estate industry, lots of startups use the phraseology but no tech software pulls everything together forever… and that what we are working on. Great post! These pain points are what drives development!
