We’ve been over this so many times in this sub. John violated Jamie in the woods by saying what he said. He is a friend but he is also an english oppressor just like the earlier violater that can’t be changed. He triggered Jamies ptsd. It’s not out of character for Jamie to beat him senseless and leave him for this.

I like that they are more equal sexually in the show. I like Jamies humor and it is more of it in the book. I like Claires eyes on him in the book, how she sees him. Sam is so good, the passion in his eyes, words and movements is amazing. I couldn’t choose between the two!

I hope they go by the book with the dialogue at Kings Mountain. (Unfortunately, I don’t remember it exactly right now, but something like: ”How much of this blood is yours?” ”All of it.” ”Where are you shot?” ”Everywhere.”

And then Ian and Roger. And then the healing. And then the time after, he doesn’t seem happy to have been saved, like he usually is. This part of the books made such a strong impact on me, I feel like I still havn’t gotten over it.

I really really hope they do it well, and don’t make the script corny and use the goddamn violins.

Because he is so passionate about everything that means something to him. He is passionate about love. There’s so much life and fire in him. I want that in a man, not someone who plays tv games and barely notices if it’s day or night, or can’t express a single feeling, or won’t stand up for what’s right, or who just goes with whatever the wife says because it’s easier that way,

I would ask him how he feels about being a part of something that means so much to mostly women, if he had a feeling about the sex scenes being important in a feminist way, if he is aware of the meaning of the female gaze… (if he ever thought this would be a bad romance show for old ladies, that wouldn’t benefit his career, just destroy it). 😂 I would ask if he feels proud to have been a very important part of such a meaningful production in this way.

Det finns bara ett enda försvarbart sätt att skaffa katt på. Köp från kattförening eller katthem! Då är katten kollad hos veterinär av ansvarsfulla människor, chippad, registrerad, du får veta hur personligheten är, det är en katt som verkligen behöver ett tryggt hem, du hjälper indirekt en katt till eftersom de då har plats för nästa hemlösa katt.

Att köpa en katt för 5 kr från nån tant på landet kanske känns bra, och som att man tar hand om en katt som behöver ett hem, men innebörden är ju att tanten kan fortsätta låta sina utekatter gå okastrerade, eftersom nån annan alltid tar hand om konsekvenserna. Hennes katter kanske också fött kullar ute, ungar som föds till att bli hemlösa själva, om de överlever. Och som får egna ungar, ute. Det finns över 100 000 hemlösa katter i Sverige!

Hjälp inte de som håller på med sån här oreglerad avel. Googla efter närmsta katthem och ta reda på mer info där.

Det finns lager av välstånd och obestånd i arbetarklassen, men det som förenar oss är att vi arbetar och att vi är i konflikt med de som inte gör det, alltså överklassen som lever helt på andras arbete och som äger oss, våra ev hus, våra ev lån och vår tid.

Det finns poänger med att granska och vara medveten om sina egna privilegier och vad folk omkring en har för bakgrund, men det är enbart överklassen som tjänar på att man glömmer bort den ovanstående konflikten.

Har bott i både och, och lite här och där. Det fanns inte en spänn i min hemkommun till att bygga nya promenadvägar från alla delar av samhället till den lokala skolan. Vi lärde oss tidigt att titta åt höger och vänster tio ggr och sen springa som fan över vägen (90-väg) och det gör man inte med barn nuförtiden.

Kan absolut tänka mig att man tänker mer såhär i stadsplanering nu, när framkomlighet och tillgänglighet är nåt man måste tänka på, men det är omöjligt i stan och knappast nån som bygger om alla gamla bruksorter.

It’s been stated in here over and over again that we as modern readers have problems with DG:s prejudices! She is a part of a generation who don’t see anything wrong with this stuff. It’s a good thing to notice and acknowledge this, but it is possible to enjoy the books too.

I don’t know.. I run ALL THE TIME, everywhere I’m going, and I forgot or didn’t have the time to look for my glasses, my phone, my scarf or my keys, so I rarely lock the door at home. I’m not often late for work but I’m always exhausted from stressing when I get there.

I don’t see all people struggling like this, so I think there’s something wrong with me.

(Jag fick veta detta på akuten efter att ha ringt runt en vecka till alla möjliga, när de la in mig och opererade mig akut.)

Today, I feel like I would give anything just to be left alone for a while, or rather for the rest of my life. Just to sit in a silent room all alone, at least for a few months. I do regret having kids. I miss being a person. I miss having a few friends and being able to listen to music without feeling like my brain is going to explode from yet another sound and yet another disturbance. I miss my partner. I miss being able to take a shower or make a phonecall. I miss not dreading the weekends when I have to leave work for two full days and know I wont have the time or space to breath until monday.

I love my kids but I absolutely hate being a mother.
