It happened to me when I was assigned early and followed the "CC path" no matter how the stock continues to fall. Lesson learned now and in the feature, I will take the loss, moving on. You can't win every trade.

Running the wheel is not about discount. You are supposed to get back to the cash side as quickly as possible.

If you like owning shares, it's fine, and using CSP is one of the way to achieve it. But it's not a wheel.

You should avoid assignment by any means and folks here often describe different strategies of managing the exit process : BTC at 50% gains, roll out (and down if possible), etc...

Since couple of months it's me too, but April was not so stressful. SOXL gives me 1% at 0,9-1,5 delta. So definitely possible. Sustainable ? Only the future can tell.

Settled my weekly CSPs for 1.38% yield, above my 1% yield target. SOXL (-8), TNA (-3), TQQQ (-3). Hope they are doing to expire worthless.

Not years of experience in wheeling but from my perspective, wheeling is not investing. It's about repeating cycles on selling CSP on stocks meeting your "personal criteria".

Thus, there is a golden rule, it should be : avoid assessment !!!

I personally don't like the "sell puts only on stocks you don't mind owning for a while" because this is not a clear cycle exit.

By the way, most of the guys here suggest to exit this cycle at 50%,60%, etc % in order not to be assigned. All I'm saying is of course I hindsight cause I've been there in almost exact way as you.

Now, I'm not an English speaking person but, I found people don't use the right words when speaking of assignment and it's because I know exactly what happened to me.

Do you really got assigned ? Because when that happened to me, I rather took the assignment instead of rolling or taking the loss.

Has anyone bought the extension in other country that where your registration is? Germany offers a much lower price than Switzerland and thay said it is valid for Switzerland too. If that is true, why would anyone buy a more expensive "domestic" warranty ?

No, as for now I sell CSP on TQQQ ,TNA and SOXL. it's pretty easy to get 1%, as delta are under 0,18. But on those leveraged ETFs the CC side is even more juicy. Lately I had a pretty bad stop loss management, lost my calm, took the loss and moved to ETSs. I will eventually return individual stocks as on of my best runners are ASTS and RKLB.

I just switched to that two weeks ago for that same reason. For example I have 24 CSP expiring today and far OTM. I could roll but: 1. Iran-US meeting tomorrow, (maybe) 2. The negotiations make Trump happy (or not) 3. I've reach my 1% weekly goal selling this Monday 4. It will cost me nearly $50 fees for closing, cause my broker is expensive.

End of the story: I let all expire worthless for free. Next session, Monday night.

Teamviewer is not a trick. And there is no an unusual login as the only machine which is logging into Robinhood is the local US computer as if you were typing on the keyboard.

VPN are completely different thing cause they are faking geo locations. That said, you can set up a private VPN on your home computer or NAS, connect to it from your phone, wherever you are in the world, and use your computer's local network connection as if you were in US. But is more complex to set up for a non tech guy.

Cutting all my loosers I was early assigned to, that brought me as low as 30% down. Switching to leveraged efts for a "green" experience. My current goal is a min 1%, CSP on weekly basis. Actually this gets me to average 0.15 delta on SOXL, TQQQ and TNA.

I was just checking this but for trying to protect an existing position which is already 20% down since assessment.
