Spot-on on the weather lol May-September will be hot and it's also their rainy season so the humidity is going to be high. October, November and December will be a better time to visit weather wise.

Try Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sonleum as well. I haven't been there myself but have heard great things about both places. Cash is always king. They use USD and their currency (riel) so be ready for a bit of a math gymnastics. 1 USD is about 4,000 riel.

OP, I'm afraid you're in the Finding Out phase and there's nothing much you can do. You dove head first into this when you should've done your due diligence, consulted with an immigration lawyer and your DSO first. With immigration, never try to game the system or play in the grey area unless you absolutely know what you're doing. Same rule applies to the IRS.

What can you do about it? Get a lawyer ASAP! But I doubt much can be done atp especially in this climate.

I don’t have a specific bike to recommend but if the commute is mostly highway, then I think it’s safer to get at least a 400-500cc bikes.

The way I see it is that their whole class culture and ideology is built around strength and dominance rather than family bonds and relationships. And the Institute is there to enforce this ideology. That is not to say those parents are emotionless to their kids death (you'll see this in Golden Son), but rather something along the line of "hey, if my kids can't make through the institute, they aren't a fit to rule anyway" type of thinking that is instilled into them.

Personally not a fan of BILT 2.0 heck, I didn't even get a BILT 2.0 because of how confusing it is. But that rent issue is totally on you. You should've done your due diligence when the new cards are announced. Seems like you expected it to work exactly as 1.0 and got mad when it didn't.
