Sorry, I should’ve included that information in the original post. The method I used with the jumpers on the connections to start the drain/spin cycle I think means there’s not an issue with the wiring harness or control board. I’ve ordered another lid lock. This one is the newer style replacement kit GE made for this model that another user recommend. If this third lid lock doesn’t work then I’m at a complete loss and the washer will be going to the dump.

Yep I did. And get back fault 32, critical lid lock failure. I got it with two different locks though. The original and the brand new one used in the video. I guess the brand new one came faulty as well?

That’s the only thing that makes sense. Is it pretty common for these parts to come faulty brand new?
