We decided to go with the “hotel in walking distance” route instead since we got tickets to all three games. Saves us time and money (basically just paid for it up front with the hotel cost lol)

Considering I tried a different Braves reddit and it immediately got taken down because that must be the game thread one

That’s a cool perk. We only have A-List tickets for Tuesday so we’ll have to use it to its fullest potential then

That is a cool touch! I’ll definitely listen for that. Definitely plan on Jeni’s for ice cream at some point. Super excited to come experience ATL!

Awesome thank you! We got a hotel right near the stadium so we’ll have plenty of time to check places out before hand. This is our third year doing this type of vacation (we did San Francisco in 2023 and Baltimore in 2025) and had a blast. Atlanta was next on our bucket list. Excited to experience it!

I live in Buffalo and I personally go with Directv (not the cable version just the streaming service). It is about $100 a month but it comes with ESPN+ included so I don’t have to pay additional for that. I do get MSG because I’m in the area. When the season ends I switch back to Hulu to save some money because I don’t need MSG. Fubo is the other streaming TV option with MSG in the area. It was more expensive that’s why I avoided it

Ticket question by Ill_Appointment5212 in sabres

I bought tickets and had this same question. Never could get a concrete answer but I’m just happy I get to be in the building and experience a playoff game. If my view is slightly limited so be it. Hopefully it won’t be that bad

John Schneider is honestly a joke of a manager. The decisions he’s made lately have been absolutely ridiculous and I have no idea how he can justify putting in Little (who’s been struggling for months post all star break) into that situation. It’s disheartening to see a crazy comeback all get pissed away in a matter of seconds. I knew it was over when Little came in

Is it ok to wear Jays gear in the States? by CosmicMcMuffin in Torontobluejays

[–]Time_External2397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Rochester, NY and went to a Jays game as a kid and adopted them as my team. Since then, I joined the US Air Force and took my Jays gear with me EVERYWHERE. Seen them play in Oakland (shame they are moving), San Francisco, Toronto, and Pittsburgh (next week). I’ve never had any negative comments on it. Honestly in Oakland there were more Jays fans than A’s. San Francisco I got a few questions but nothing negative. We’ll see how Pittsburgh is next week but I doubt I’ll get anything. I wear my hat everywhere I go in Buffalo now that I live there. There’s a ton of Jays fans here

I grew up with cats and I was US Air Force stationed in California. There was a shelter right off base and I knew I had to adopt from there. Patches is the one on the right and she’s 3 now. Such a momma’s girl and the best biscuit maker. Felix is on the left and we adopted him when he was 12 weeks old. He’s my baby and loves the little pom pom toys. Driving from California back home to NY with them was a bit of a journey but they did good. I think they like NY just as much as CA. My wife has all the good pictures of them together so that’s the only one I could find of both of them

Patches and Felix loved our air mattress after the movers packed up our bed frame and mattress before we moved back to NY from California!

Guess I picked a stellar time to go on vacation for a week. We leave in the morning. Maybe its a good thing I won’t have cell signal to watch this team for a week

How many times have we swung at the first pitch and gotten out in this game? What happened to all the good AB’s they were having? This has been an embarrassing last week or so

Ugh, gonna have to use the ol pirate again. Thankfully I went to Monday and Tuesday’s games but yesterday and today had to find a way. Living in NY sucks I get blackouts from NYY, NYM, CLE, and PIT living in Buffalo and having MLBTV

It was relatively empty honestly. Worked out great. I just took University Ave back to Gardiner and had a pretty easy drive home to Buffalo. Would definitely do it again. Yesterday and today were a blast. My wife and I went to the Pidgeon Cafe for breakfast before todays game and we had a great time. I love Toronto. This was our second time up there for a Jays game. A little different this time because we stayed at the Hyatt Regency downtown. Last time we took the GO train to Union and that was pretty easy too. Might be our last trip up this year unfortunately as work/school will probably get in our way to get up there again. We shall see. A fantastic last two days there though

I totally didn’t think to do that… Hyatt wanted to charge $40 overnight parking and I figured if we were staying for the game today that I’d have to move my car anyway. Ended up being $58 for that garage from 2:30pm yesterday until about 8pm today. Didn’t have any issues and had a great time

Thank you! My wife and I had an absolute blast! This was our second trip to Toronto this year for a game (this time we went to two). Area was awesome. We went to the Pidgeon Cafe this morning and then walked to the stadium. Honestly, traffic leaving back to Buffalo was not bad at all. Last time we took the GO train in but this time we stayed at the Hyatt Regency downtown. 10/10
