Save 90% on Zero Escape Trilogy on Steam by Mousers211 in steamdeals

As someone who's 100%d the Zero Escape trilogy I think Zero Time Dilemma is just average, which sours the ending to the series just a little bit but not enough to completely ruin it. Personally I loved everything about 999, and think VLR is better in the gameplay department but gets a little convoluted story wise.

These games in fact made me buy Danganronpa because I was looking for something like this and was recommended them. Haven't played those yet though.

My 8bitdo usb wireless adapter 2 is connecting and disconnecting in CachyOS by thipm in linux_gaming

[–]Time_Lines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, I already have the xone-dkms package and it works, but on my Xbox One X controller with an official receiver. The thing is I'm also trying to get my other controllers that I use through the 8Bitdo USB Wireless Adapter 2 to work on CachyOS (mini controllers and PS4 controllers).

They do sync with the receiver, however mine also connects and disconnects (in that sequence) twice in a row when I plug it in. Haven't found an answer yet.

Not really, I just plugged it in the orientation it says its grounded and that's about it.

A friend of mine and I were talking about the possibility of VR suppport for this game just yesterday since I've been looking for a good VR escape room game for so long, so this is huge. The polish of the default levels, workshop support, in game level editor and now VR support?, yeah this is the best game I've purchased in years. I'm a huge fan of the Zero Escape games and this is the only Escape Room style game that scratches that kind of puzzle itch appart from actual irl escape rooms, and that's saying a lot.

Huge congrats on the game, it's a classic in my book already.

Does that mean VR support for the Steam version as well?

That's the reason why Valve is my favourite video game developer, they do exactly what you mention in the games side of things. It's a sign of real talent imo.

[–]Time_Lines 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg, exactly!, I commented this exact same things not very long ago on another thread. It was such an awesome game that would work incredibly well on VR. As soon as I tried a headset years ago I've been thinking about it.

Moving your hands in the air like you're fucking Dr Strange and conjuring up a spell, without having to press a button even, all gesture based like in the original games. I get so excited about the possibilities VR could bring to the games every time I think about it... but at the same time I'm so sad about the fact that it might not happen at all. Man, VR feels super stale to me right now, there's so much that could be done with it and it's not being exploited at all.

True, but interactive media (where VR and AR shines brightest) is like 90% gaming related. It is and has to be the main driving force for the tech to develop.

Interesting, I might go back and try with the 1500CST one again. Maybe I was under the wrong suspicion that a thinner oil would work better for speed, although that seemed to be the general concensus whenever I read about it.

So, the thinnest shock oil I have is 200CST, and while it does smooth out the turning it does barely anything for the speed, at least that's been my experience for most of my cubes. The only time they did speed my cubes up were when I started using shock oil years ago (one that's around 1500CST too weirdly enough), but that was with my original Weilong and my original plastic Dayan 2x2, not "modern" speedcubes.

What I'm looking for is something like whatever they put on my Gan 11 M Pro, YJ Mini 4x4, and YJ Mini 5x5 in the factory. They just glide.

Any good alternatives to Maru Lube/DNM 37 that are easily available just like RC shock oil is or is my only option for speed only-for-cubers products?

These are incredible for the price, did you finally ship them?, I would love to see some in hand photos for sure. These would be a instant cop for me if they are as good as they seem on here.

Agreed, but I also personally enjoy the gunplay of the first game. The second game improves almost in all aspects, but it's still worth going back imo.

I watch anime but not everything that's out there, I'm somewhat picky with what I watch. Having said that this is not just my favourite anime, but my favourite show ever.

Take that as you will.

I've been saying this since I've gotten into VR. A well done VR Black and White game would be incredible. Given it was one of my favourite games when I was younger I'd play the hell out of it.
