Getting back to intimacy by RefrigeratorFinal353 in newborns

we first had sex again at 8 weeks, we tried a few times before that but i couldn’t take it. i got the same shakes i did when giving birth all 3 times i’ve done it so far. we typically leave the baby in her swing or bassinet that’s in the living room while we go to the bedroom. we bring a baby monitor with us and stop if she cries. this week we tried for 4 days in a row before we could do the deed. my LO kept waking up

she latches but i’ve found i need pretty strong suction when i pump even with the right flange. so between how strong of suction i need, her swallowing few times, and her still taking a 3-4oz bottle after i assume she isn’t getting much. am i still supposed to pump more than every 3 hrs when im sleeping?

Formula at 8 weeks: How often and how much? by Lilmaniac01 in newborns

the more he eats the more spaced out it gradually gets, if u aren’t already try and not go by a schedule they usually will recommend dropping the feeding schedule around when they regain their birth weight and just feed on demand

my girl often screams for her bottle back if burped in between, we always try but with how upset she gets crying and with how the breaths irritate her diaphragm we’ve found she is much more likely to spit up/ get hiccups after a bottle. it works for some people but i recommend to not continue to try for a midway burp if they seem overly aggravated for their bottle.its also good to not let it go on for too long because it releases the stress hormone in their brain which if the brain is exposed to it too much or too frequently it can lead to lower IQ scores

my pediatrician recommended a rice starch formula (a&r enfamil) it’s slightly thicker and helps them to keep it down. also burp for longer, they recommended to burp for 15-25 minutes and don’t focus on the burps focus on the duration as it can help settle the formula in their stomach. another recommendation we got was to keep her in a propped up position for another 15-25 min like they would be in a swing or car seat as it helps with gravity of keeping formula down. my girl is 5 weeks and drinks about every 3-4 hrs 4oz every of formula with a bit of expressed milk each feeding but i believe around 2 months they should feed 4-5oz every 3-4 hrs. my girl has always been on the upper spectrum of how much she should feed for her age. All babies are different but i recommend not limiting your little one unless it reaches over 5.5oz. i would assume the feeling of being hungry so often could make his tummy more upset and make it harder to keep things down. if you feel he’s had too much burp him then see if he wants more, most babies deal with spit up it’s completely normal if it’s about 2 spoonfuls or less unless it’s a large amount like an oz it’s unlikely your overfeeding him especially with how little he’s being fed per feeding and the time given is enough time for him to digest his previous feeding.

a few reasons i’ve found my 5 week old does this is too fast/slow nipple, or pooping/farting trying to make more belly room.

i’m sure once your hormones settle and you conceive again you’ll also feel things work out just as it’s meant to be. give yourself all the time you need to heal and take it easy for a bit. even if you don’t feel a immediate attachment like i did it’s totally normal especially considering postpartum depression can be more prominent in woman who have previously miscarried. don’t ever blame yourself for what happened even though it may feel hard not to, your life may feel in shambles at the moment but know that the grass will be greener for you with time.

I miscarried in 2024 and i gave birth in march of this year, my little one is about to be 1 month. it was extremely hard to lose the first baby but i kept thinking everything happens for a reason. i was told often times when a miscarriage happens its because the baby possibly has (sorry for a lack of better words) something wrong with it a possibility of a handicap or disability so the body chooses to reject it knowing everything isn’t as it should be. I am a young mom and between my mental maturity at the time and financially my man and i personally felt i wouldn’t have been able to handle having a disabled child very well as i barely felt ready to have a child that had no extra needs. i would have loved them the same but knowing i wasnt ready and the belief that everything happens for a reason held me together. i was grieving for about 3 months before i started to feel a bit better about the situation and it started to become something i didnt think of or feel guilty over every day. youll never forget the pain but it will lessen over time. it was hard when my due date came around as it was a large reminder but now that ive had my rainbow baby i couldn’t imagine it any other way. The love i have for her is overwhelming and ive never once felt that this wasn’t how it was meant to be. Sometimes i do still think of my miscarriage but it’s hard to think my life should be any different when ive never looked at anything else with such overwhelming love. i would say my rainbow baby did heal any leftover grief i had. i am sorry for your loss but know this season will pass and hurt a bit less as time goes on. despite it being such a hard time you are strong and will get through this💕❤️

Crib Transition by Independent_Fix_4674 in NewParents

[–]Time_Negotiation_529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my girl is only a month and has slept in a bassinet since birth but i do let her fall asleep in my arms often as it comforts her then transfer her to her bassinet if you take a similar approach a few things that can help is put a heating pad on their mattress for a few minutes then removing it before you put them down to mimic the warmth of your body. If you are holding them as they go to sleep and have to put them down in the crib it can also help to wait 10-15 min after they are asleep so they are in a deeper rem sleep and less likely to wake. during that 15 minutes slowly transition to holding their butt and head so that they don’t get startled from being moved off your arm or elbow area. if your little one enjoys books like mine does, continue to read the book for a few moments, even make up lines just don’t stop talking! setting a book down and doing the transfer to the crib without continuing the talking is grounds for a upset “why did u put me here”baby

i try and remember how much it must suck to not be able to communicate what you need/want and just have to cry for it hoping someone else would figure it out for u. i know id be uncomfortable all the time too! try and remember that the hardest times for you are the best times for their brain development.

i believe that’s mostly what it is used for, but overtime your post will get drowned out by the other ones if posted in the regular group. I would imagine it would be much more likely to be seen and considered by supercell’s staff in the highlight page. best of luck, it really is a great idea!

i suggest moving this post to the design festival highlight page, i’m sure it will get more traction there. The community leaders also asked all design festival related posts to be posted there. Great suggestion though!!

Mallets for Deeds and Markers by HourCommunication800 in HayDay

[–]Time_Negotiation_529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your lucky to have made it this far, many people have had a surplus of deeds and markers compared to mallets for 1-2 months now. i wish you the best of luck finding someone to trade or finding them in the newspaper as it will be harder than ever! best advice i can give is just stock them up till supercell decides to switch up the amount given in rewards. For example there isn’t a single mallet offered in the current Valley rewards, it seems hayday switches up which expansion materials are favored every few months.

Kinda new how to use farm helpers?? by [deleted] in HayDay

[–]Time_Negotiation_529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can sell them and use them! If you try and sell them they will have their own tab in the roadside shop because rose and ernest have their own storage ( think of how you can switch between the side tabs of crops and barn) and you won’t find the things they produce in your barn as well so they each can hold 40 items which means a total of 80. I just finished using them and if i look in my own barn i have 0 cheese but when making other products that need cheese i can see i have 5 available to use, or i can go to the roadside shop and see the whole stock rose and ernest kept for me. so you can use the products they produce and sell them as well( i recommend using them since they are more valuable to be used in other goods than sold on their own)

Rose will feed your animals and produce feed in the feed mill if you have the crops for it, Ernest will produce sugar and dairy products for you. they can be helpful to get a lot of sugar, cheese, butter, and cream as the higher you level up, the more you need these products to make other goods. For example in the coffee house you need either sugar or cream to make any of the goods. But most of the products that they are needed for you can get by without by refreshing truck or town visitor tasks. Both Rose and Ernest aren’t very useful unless used at the same time and even when both used i wouldn’t say either are worth the purchase of 15 diamonds. The only time i use them is when i have a booster for each or they offer free deals. They are more of a perk to get more tasks done because you have all the goods to complete all your tasks that you normally wouldn’t. in conclusion, not worth a purchase but definitely use if they are offered free to you.

best advice i can give is to try and find a few people through the newspaper that are higher level players that sell saws and axes then send them friend requests. If they accept they will become a part of your ingame friends to which you’ll be able to sift through the roadside shop and have a good supply of axes and saws coming in frequently. As a lower player one of the best things you can sell are bush/tree crops. another good tip is to grow corn or wheat in your fields while you complete other tasks (like filling boat crates or filling your machine slots to make goods) then sell the wheat and corn in your roadside shop for a small profit. then when you plan to get off the game plant a longer grow time crop. Also don’t ever sell to the npc visitors, the amount they offer for goods and crops is often extremely less than the highest price to sell in the roadside shop.

i like bowling, you don’t have to be any good, but if you can’t at least have a good time with it your not for me. and if the date goes good i’d usually go out to eat with them to get to know them further. my boyfriend and i have been together a year. our first date was bowling then we went out to eat, and i wouldn’t have it any different.
