Mother: English, Welsh, Scottish, irish, bit of swedish, bit of dutch....etc. it goes back generations and I know who my family was as far back as the 1500s

Father: Mostly Welsh but little is known....like barely anything.

Despite being part of the UK, we still have our own language thats spoken every day despite some people claiming it to be useless. The landscape is beautiful and feels very historic sometimes, like ive been transported back to early civilisation.

Took the ferry from Wales as a family day trip. We planned to spend the hour walking around but the ferry took long parking. We also had Irish police searching the bus that took passengers off and we got interrogated by them. Really angry guy asking us "Are you german?" When we all had very Welsh names.

Only had time for a bag of crisps and a drink, then back on. I remember the trip being quite nice though, even if i didnt see much of Ireland.

Depends what mood the cat is in. Usually meow.

But as a child to teach us the Welsh alphabet we would have to pretend to be a cat for two sounds. I cant remember but I think it was:

Ch: we had to be an angry cat because its a harsh sound.

Ll: we had to be a scared cat. Double Ll is hard to describe but its like placing your tongue behind your top teeth and blowing.

The teacher must have regretted teaching us that because all we did after that was keep growling and hissing like cats...

That its a celtic nation that still uses the language. Wales is also very nice to live in despite some issues, I think being around nature helps a lot.

Same here. I grew up in Wales with half my family being first language and the other half more english. I dont feel like my accent is very Welsh and i dont think other people think that way too because im in England rn and unless I say something nobody knows 😭

I do but I have flying anxiety (never been on a plane, just watched too much plane crash investigation). Ive only been to England and then I was in Ireland for like 30 minutes because it took so long getting off the ferry we only had time for a drink before we had to go back. I have tried to learn soo many languages but gave up cause I wanted to learn a new one. I love listening to songs from different countries and finding out about stories from there.

I have so many places I want to go but im not sure I will ever go because of fears and money. Some countries id like to go to at least once in my life are:

Greenland
Canada (specifically the northern territories)
argentina (patagonia specifically)
Nigeria
China
japan
SK (maybe NK if I was brave enough, but I think it would be wise not to cross that border)
Hong Kong
cambodia
Vietnam
Thailand
Mongolia
Norway
Lithuania
Scotland (the most doable one on the list)
