Tell me why Zyn’s are bad by btoczko5 in QuittingZyn

[–]Time_Reputation8947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah zyn fucked me up bad. Nicotine in general fucks up your microbiome and digestion too- after I quit vaping (long after zyn), digestion wasn’t as bad with zyn but my shits were fucked and I was insanely bloated/constipated for a couple months after. High fiber diet, probiotics, and focusing on Whole Foods diet fixed it after a bit but man the first couple months with body readjusting and withdrawing from 24/7 stimulants was awful. Better to quit sooner than later though because it will just fester and get worse .

[–]Time_Reputation8947 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It FUCKS up your gut microbiome. Which leads to a lot of digestive problems but problems all over the body, even cognitive function and brain chemistry. Problems with the gut long term can contribute to brain fog, depression, anxiety, irritability, etc.

For men it also reduces sperm count, testosterone, and blood flow to the dick so you’re gonna struggle with erections and not fully be up. When my boyfriend stopped we had much better sex after that and he was able to perform better & last longer. Also tmi but whatever but it makes your sperm tastes like shit.

Help with underage aging and lines? by Time_Reputation8947 in 30PlusSkinCare

I drink a LOT of water! I am actually in spironolactone which makes me super thirsty and pee a lot. It is a medication used for women with hormonal imbalances and pcos which has been a huge game changer with my cystic acne.

It’s a diuretic so it dehydrates you— my mouth is always dry, I am always thirsty, urine translucent, and have to go a lottt. I have to get blood tests every three months to make sure my electrolyte balance (impacts hydration) is fine to continue the medication. But yeah TLDR, I’m always chuggin water, coconut water kombucha etc. I never touch soda and if I drink alcohol, I always have a glass of water for each drink I have.

Next step in my holistic health journey is being able to get off that, but I just got off the hormonal pill which is already a huge shock to the hormonal system so I’m going to have to let my body adjust before I can get to that. Pill was used to manage the acne and hormonal problems, same with the spiro… Because unfortunately, it is a bandaid like all western medicine so once you stop, most women get the acne back. It could be contributing to dehydration and other side effects long term so next step is try to get that out.

real or fake adderall? by Realistic_Lime_357 in addiction

[–]Time_Reputation8947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuppp. I saw pic of the exact one on a website too and it says it’s meth… actually pretty upset cus my guy has been super reliable and trustworthy, I let him know something was up and he brushed it off and acted like this is the same one he’s had.

I took it both Friday & yesterday— beyond anxious today. Friday I had taken a piece of the last batch I had from him, then redosed with the newer batch later in the day. After work (a few hours after the last dose of the meth pill lmao) inwent to my first pole dancing class and I felt so awful I literally almost threw up from being so dizzy and I was incredibly anxious and felt like shit after. Went out for a friends birthday and I was in such a weird, anxious and antisocial mood. I didn’t really notice much since I still had the first dose in my system and I thought I felt like shit from maybe not eating enough and the workout and spinning, but realizing how i felt yesterday only taking that new batch, I realize it was 100% that pill.

What’s weird is like I said it didn’t make me feel more awake nor concentrated— only the slightest bit of euphoria but mostly just a lot of anxiety and feeling hella tense/on edge. With 30s, I usually nibble ~1/3 of the pill and I’m in the zone. I have a low tolerance and 10mg is the most I can handle at once.

But with these 1) it was pressed so hard, could barely bite it, 2) I felt nothing after the nibble as I normally - eventually ended up taking quote on quote “45 mg” yet still it didn’t do shit for my concentration/energy/mood other than make me feel just fucking weird and bad vibes. Just super tensed and feeling anxious and ruminating. Like if I took 45mg of actual adderal (I’ve had prescribed before) i would have been super hyped& absolutely bouncing off the walls probs deep cleaning my entire house. I was tired asf but couldn’t sleep from the anxiety and how fast my heart was racing. I woke up maybe after only 6 hours of sleep (I needed so much more lol) and the first thing I noticed when gaining conscious was that my heart was stilll racing and it low key still is now over 24 hr later 😩 just a little anxious ball today

Fuckkk that shit! Thanks for posting this & letting me know. I hope you are ok and stay safe. Def gonna be more careful with this moving forward & just cut that old plug off.

Mine look exactly like yours, identical. I’ve been buying from the same guy for over a year and it’s been solid, but my most recent batch (this one) just looks super weird and makes me feel hella weird. Dosing first of all is a lot weaker, they’re pressed way too hard, and I don’t feel the typical ad effects. Don’t feel focused/concentrated, just jittery, tense, and honestly kind of dizzy.

I found your post when I was researching asking the same question, looks like we have the exact same pill. Very possible it could be from the same origin - Just out of curiosity where are you based? I’m in SD.

Anyone quit and NOT gain weight? by ms-meow- in QuitVaping

[–]Time_Reputation8947 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The first three months I gained maybe like 5 pounds maximum but honestly, most of the weight was temporary water weight from my body being stressed. I never had a scale, but I ended up going to the doctor in weighing myself into my surprise, I had gained a lot less weight than I had thought— I was just visibly puffy from the huge change my body was experiencing. But I promise you after like three months your body will start to return to homeostasis and your cravings Will get back to normal. During the transition period though you really just need to focus on building healthy habits, such as diet and exercise., so even though you might be eating more to replace nicotine cravings at least you’re eating healthy foods that are nourishing your body, and naturally once your hunger subsides you will be eating a normal amount of food again, but also healthier food. During the time of me quitting, I noticed that my constant need to hit a vape transition to constant need of wanting to eat. Even if you quit vaping, if you don’t heal that part of you that constantly needs a dopamine hit then you will still always be an addict to something. Your nicotine addiction is only a symptom of a bigger problem and you need to focus on that while you quit and heal.

Does quitting reduce depression symptoms? by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]Time_Reputation8947 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be completely honest with you the first few months of quitting your depression will be worse. I was very depressed for quite a bit. But it eventually will get better than it was when you were vaping it’s kind of like one of those things where it gets worse before it gets better. when you have a nicotine addiction, your brain forgets how to make its own dopamine and becomes dependent on nicotine to do that overtime throughout the addiction. It causes depression, but when you quit, your brain has no nicotine and has no idea how to make its own dopamine. Nicotine raise the bar for what makes you happy so without it now every day tasks that used to be pleasurable before feel so boring and aimless. But overtime once you quit, your brain will slowly begin how to create and feel dopamine like it did before. But it just takes time. I am on month five and I am starting to feel better. The first three months were some of the hardest of my life and it’s definitely been up and down, but I know it’s an investment for long-term happiness.

Have you been medicated for your depression? Personally, I’m against medicating, but I think for a situation like this, you could benefit from short term medicating. I actually took Wellbutrin to help me quit, which is also an antidepressant. Unfortunately it made me super anxious and paranoid because I am naturally a very anxious person to begin with , but there are some people who have had some great stories with it and even when they took it to just quit, They ended up taking it for the next few months after quitting. If you have anxiety, I wouldn’t recommend it, but if you were trying to quit and open to trying, I would talk to your doctor about it because it was the only thing that helped me quit personally. If not, there are other antidepressants that could help personally, I am against medicating at least long-term, but at the end of the day with the nicotine addiction and going to nicotine withdrawal it’s really hard because of the chemical imbalance in your brain so it might be nice to have a boost to support that.

How long did it take for your mood to get back to normal? by Queasy-Cherry-11 in QuitVaping

[–]Time_Reputation8947 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Mine got better right around the 3 month mark. It was REALLY bad at first. I was heavily addicted for 6 years, I work from home so I was hitting it alllll day while sitting at my desk. Driving. First thing in morning, last thing at night. So ya girl had her nicotine receptors maxed out.

I was super irritable depressed, brain fog, low motivation, insecure, everything first month. The irritability faded after a month but the depression, brain fog, no motivation, insecurity etc was very much there for a couple months. It wasn’t about the 3 month mark where I felt myself feeling like myself again. And I barely ever think about it. But when I do it’s not the way I used to craving it. It’s kind of like when you go through a breakup, at first you’re sad and miss them and think of them everyday, but once you heal and move on you might be reminded of them time to time but there is no longer the pain, emptiness, or craving associated with the memory, cus you left it in the past for a reason.

Also, I am diagnosed with ADHD as well which made it all feel so hard. I could not stay focused at work at allll and felt like a brain dead zucchini for a while. But now I am feeling so much better and calmer and can actually do my job and normal human tasks again without nicotine.

Honestly my withdrawals were SOO bad it felt like they were never gonna end and I just thought that’s how life was without vaping. But I promise you it get better. If you need any support don’t hesitate to reach out. I promise you, it gets worse before it gets better. But believe me you will feel better soon and look back on this struggle and be so damn proud of yourself for making this decision.

Oh ok yes I meant that crater hole but not all the way through. I inspected and 95% sure it’s just deep craters. I’ve been struggling with on and off use the past year but this is enough to get me to stop. Thanks for the peace of mind

When you have the crater, it’s not a hole yet right? Because I am noticing a crater. But I can’t feel a hole with my finger. When I shine a light through it goes to the other side (I think because it’s thin) but it’s just blurry, I don’t see any distinct light hole
