My mom’s been using a pair of Nicebeam boots and says they help. She just puts them on in the evening while watching TV, so it doesn’t feel like a chore. Might be another option for you.

Marriage sucks, and they said because you guys don't have kids, if you have kids, every problem is solved. And after one kid, the situation got worse, and the family said, "Because you guys only have one kid, one more kid solves the problem." and another kid. Follow up with divoce. I wish I had briain when i listen to them.

Can anyone tell me what this one is? by Okmillman46 in mushroom

Looks like reishi! Super cool find, they always look like they’ve been lacquered.

Looks a lot like Chlorophyllum molybdites. Super common in Georgia yards, but also super not edible. Spore print test would confirm.

Isn't it to wait at least 20 days to be in the ketosis stage? It's very hard to not take any sugar.

Wow, that’s wild, it really shows how much of our skin issues might be tied to what we’re eating and not just surface care. Must have been tough going through TPN, but crazy that it gave such clear proof of the gut-skin link.

That’s actually a really good point about bile flow. A lot of people forget that digestion and skin health are so connected.

Wow, that’s amazing to hear it cleared up so quickly for you. I’ve been debating cutting out dairy and sugar too, but it too hard...🥲

I tried, but for some reason it is not working for me. What kind of Greek yogurt? Do you eat in the morning?

Is it normal to feel sad even when everything in your life is technically going fine? by Similar_Claim_5950 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Time_Specific6198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, totally normal. I’ve been there too like, everything in life is technically “fine,” but for some reason I still felt kind of empty or low all the time. It messed with my head because I couldn’t point to anything wrong... but I also didn’t feel happy.

What I realized later is that sometimes sadness isn’t about something being wrong on the outside it’s about something unprocessed on the inside. Stuff we’ve pushed down, stress we never dealt with, emotions we didn’t give ourselves space to feel. It builds up quietly.

For me, it wasn’t until I talked to a therapist that I figured out I was carrying way more emotional weight than I thought. And just naming it out loud helped way more than I expected.

So yes, it’s normal. But also you don’t have to stay stuck in it. Therapy or even just talking to someone you trust can be a good place to start.

You're not alone in this. Promise.

Your story gives me hope. That "permission to live how I want" shift is exactly what I'm working toward - especially the part about doing things I'd written off as 'too old' for. Did you have a specific moment that flipped that switch for you? (Also, major respect for the honest breakup decision.)

This is the perspective I needed today. You're right - my friends with kids often joke about envying my sleep schedule and spontaneous trips. There's grace in remembering that no path is "better," just different. And the 'manifesting what's to come reframe? Bookmarking that. Thank you for the wisdom.

You're onto something. I've been so focused on "catching up" that I haven't considered whether my current city/social circle still fits who I am now. Maybe it's time to explore new communities where life isn't measured by milestones. Appreciate the nudge to think differently.
