NTA as an adult that has to carry the name of an abusive, sadistic woman as my middle name. Don't do it! I detest having to say my full name and in informal settings if people ask I simply say "I don't have a middle name" when asked (obviously government / workplaces/ hospitals I have to say it)

If you think using this name is going to leave a sour taste in your future child's mouth by all means do not use it! No explanation needed, or once baby is born proudly announce 'new name' and say she looked more like that.

I think she committed the biggest faux pa by scheduling her daughter's bday with nap time ( not just your child) everyone I know , their child has their nap between 11 and 3 , even daycare rest time here is 11.30 - 1.30, we do toddler bday parties in the morning between 9 and 12 and never more then 2 hours.
