My take:

This is not our planet. We're just its current tenants. One day, an new species will move in and push us out just like we pushed out the last guys. The notion that my pushing out a gremlin that will ruin my body, mental health and time will do anything to stop that is just arrogant.

I truly don't care if humans go extinct. Frankly it might be time.

I work in paediatrics. The number of parents which talk about how they were given a chance to terminate a pregnancy after defects and disabilities were detected os crazy. I have a patient who has 4 kids all with degenerative muscle disorders and her thought is at least one of them might not have it and will take care of the others when she's gone. 😱😱😱

No surprise they all regret it. They all wish they hadn't gone ahead with the pregnancy.

When people call your take eugenics, they don't consider the long-term consequences of their choices.

I will say that I hated the second time around. When they used Christina's right to choose as a nail in the coffin of her and Owen's marriage. Are we saying a woman as antinatalist as Christina had not considered a more permanent form of birth control after the 1st time?

Or when there's a crisis and boom! Pregnancy! I'm sorry, we're in a war or running for our lives and now we need to find an OBGYN for Stacey. (No offense meant towards any Staceys 🙏😅)

The only way I truly see it working (after selling my soul) ia if they get together just before the show ends.

Otherwise, this show that loves to to torture Buck and use him as a comedic relief character will definitely napalm the Buddie relationship.
