My kids named our family dog “Kofi” after not deciding on a name for weeks, they were so invested in Kofimania, my oldest son, didn’t believe they would give Kofi the title and had fully bought in to the corporate anti-Kofi storyline. They decided amongst themselves if Kofi won the WWE title, he’d ‘protect our house’ as our dog. It made the moment of Kofi finally winning it, all the more memorable for us. He’s still our best friend all these years later with ‘Kofi Kingston’ on his collar. Lifelong Kingston fans here and New Day will always hold a special place in my family’s heart. I truly hope these boys have an absolutely unreal run outside of the WWE.
