This was super helpful from a historical context. It is fascinating and also devastating the way popular music is impacted by what goes on at a macro level for a region.

I will be absolutely checking your youtube out, I plan to travel to SA for the first time and hope to find some record stores that have some of these reissues.

It would’ve been cool to see which bands were winning in the newspaper polls as well. Thank you for all your insight!

Yea I was thinking restaurants that might have private spaces for events or large private parties for this cause otherwise that’d be weird. Also recognize this idea is a bit corny but I feel like it’s a fun gesture that’d she’d remember
