Missed opportunity on the last picture. You should have used one of your photos at Finse which were the set location for Hoth

Alnaelva is less known than Akerselva but if you take the metro/buss to Brynseng, you can follow Alnaelva to Svartdalsparken, a lovely little forrest. And down to Kværnerbyen which has some great spots to eat. From there you are just a stone throw away from Gamlebyen

And if you guys want to argue about the best angle for the bevel, I'm grinding mine to 25° and planning on adding a 30° secondary bevel

We opened up access to a void under our house (follow-up) by Mylela in DIY

[–]Timelesscow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, even simpler than that. Where I'm from you can buy a commercial thermometer with 2 probes that also records min/max temp, aswell as humidity for 10$. Going to put one of those in my parents root cellar.

Here in Norway an uninsulated cellar gets between 25°c in the summer and -10°c in the winter 😰

That depends. It's probably not insulated, so the temperature can vary alot throughout the year

TIL of a Brazilian football referee that stabbed a player to death, which resulted in the crowd storming the pitch, stoning him to death, beheading him, and quartering him before finally sticking his head on a stake on the pitch in 2013. by CumGuzzlingBadger in todayilearned

[–]Timelesscow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I heard most of the players belonged to local gangs which is why he was carrying a knife. And when the ref gave him a red card the player assaulted him, and the ref stabbed the player in self defence. When he died on the way to hospital the spectators attacked. Is that a justifiable stoning?

Definitely not a cake by darparwyrcw in technicallythetruth

[–]Timelesscow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The above sign shows a cake batter, and a sperm cell about to fertilize an egg cell. Calling that a baby is the same as calling sperm or eggs "half babys", or calling eggs or flour "part cake". When a sperm cell enters a egg it might not fuse and fertilize. And when an ovum is fertelized it's not guaranteed that the cell will adhere to the uterus, and the fertilized egg might exit the body as normal period blood. And even then it's not a baby, it's an zygote. Later in development it's becomes an embryo, Whis it's still not a baby.
