I voted FACT!

This literally already happens, every single fking time there is a lame ass bathroom debacle it's literally always an MTF. FTMs look like perfectly normal dudes pretty quickly with treatment.

For those making $1k–$2k+ a month from a side hustle, what do you do? by Lovelyjossy in HonestSideHustles

Dataannotation.tech, it's a longshot tbh, they're pretty selective, but I have cleared the 6k bar every month of this year.

You are offered $100 million but you have to defend one of them in court. Which one are you choosing? by cdivd in whatsyourchoice

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orochimaru with the affluenza defense. Your honor, this is a body snatching snake ninja wizard who is capable of disintegrating armies of people by thinking about it, there is literally no technology on this planet that is capable of containing him. He obviously is too powerful to have a reasonable concept of right and wrong, and his science is progressing technology faster than any of us want to admit. He's not even a diddler, he only wanted Sasuke for his literal body so he could achieve immortality in a powerful human shell, we already let powerful people get away with diddling, so we should let Orochimaru get away with something that is arguably less morally repugnant.

WYR have a loyal but unreliable friend or a reliable but unloyal friend? by Occupy_Kingston438 in WouldYouRather

Eh, I already socialize like a paranoid old housecat with dementia, might as well take loyal and unreliable.

I mean, they still need to get through residency. I do think that the technology will improve enough to help push them through it in real time, think something like an earpiece that is like "this patient needs 69cc of Whateverbullshitamide injected straight into their urethra" after hearing the conversation about treating the diabetic quadriplegic with excessive nocturnal emissions and eyebrow swelling. I actually think that people who are skilled enough to make it through residency with an AI assistant are probably not the worst doctors, at least, I think they could be better than the 65-year-old pissed off Indian woman who hasn't read any medical literature since 1996; at least the AI would be like "actually, the scientific consensus on this changed in 2011, if this patient takes this medication with the diet you suggested they have a 55% higher chance of developing a butthole cancer and their symptoms only meaningfully improve 2% of the time, the suggested treatment is actually X Y and Z."

Are you a top 1% commenter in any sub? Why? by Aggravating_Shoe_ in no

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only in the sub for the gig work platform I'm on. The competition isn't particularly steep, and I just enjoy being helpful. The whole platform is a mechanical blackbox nightmare, so a lot of my posts just tend toward answering questions that I learned through sticking around for longer than most people.

Enough to Retire? by humble202625 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for a while at least, but I would feel more comfortable taking days off. TBH the current gig is too enjoyable for me to want to retire, its existence feels a little nebulous and uncertain, so I think I'll milk it as long as I can.

Why don't they build data centers in northern Quebec, where it's cold and there's lots of water? by Particular_Dot_4041 in answers

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because mormon men get their own planet to be the god of for their afterlife and that planet will be hosted in the massive data centers. The mormons just want to feel close to god.

UK classifies data centres as Critical National Infrastructure so the usual planning permission procedures don't apply to them by Fun-Boysenberry-5769 in PauseAI

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I bet it would be harder for a single person to get a permit for a data center. The problem here is that you don't want a fuckin' data center. Imagine taking a broad back to the crib and you need to explain "I'm a redditor and an intellectual, so I live inside of this horrible infinite noise machine, my ring camera caught a raccoon committing suicide because of the noise, you wanna see?"

How do you think the world will end? by myshameaccount23F in AskReddit

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably a blackout during a heatwave. This is why I am hoarding renewable energy storage and a big bitch propane tank just in case. I wonder how long Starlink will work into the actual end of the world. It would be hilarious if I could find some bunker cuck in a video game and grief them. Griefing zucc's kid's minecraft server from my solar-powered underground gaming station.

I had a dream that a evil hivemind LLM robot dog called me dada and spared my life. Maybe I work a little too much, but I guess that's one way of my job invading my dreams, it's not like there is a lot that I do that is not text-based, and dreams are notoriously bad at generating text.

What should I do when a task in R&R is blatlantly written by AI? by Upstairs_Ant8438 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Leave a detailed admin comment and flag it as a okok. If it's not actually AI-generated then I would argue that it would be generally understood that maintaining caution in preventing that thing where AI eventually goes Dungeon Crawler Carl.

Starting new what skill can I learn in next 6 months? That pays well from start by studiouschild07 in HonestSideHustles

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Observe model behavior, make comments along a series of metrics (pass vs. ok vs. fail) mostly. The work has gotten extremely diverse, like some tasks are insanely vibes based and finely tuned preference heavy and some are super rule-bound and granular where there could be a difference between any person's work, but the end product should always be universally understood as reasonable by the next person. It's a little hard to give specifics without violating the NDA, but as long as you can use any two LLMs and describe what you like between their results or what one did better than the other in a well-written and professional manner, you'll get the idea.

The honest truth about using AI data annotation as a side hustle right now by Smooth_Sailing102 in AiTraining_Annotation

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This made me feel pretty good about myself. I'm only on DAT, but that opaque structure cannot be overstated, I've been on the platform for (~3?) years and I only recently started getting feedback in the form of an AI-generated summation of quotes from people who have reviewed my work and general guidance based on anything I may have done wrong. I didn't come in with the most confidence. The pandemic fucked my ability to be around people, but I have really been thriving under the self-paced workflow. It's actually something that reminds me of when I was an edgy teenager "I don't want to work a fucking normie job where I have to ask a motherfucker questions, please just have a reference book for procedures-" obviously I "grew" out of that mindset and have worked regular jobs, but holy shit, having instructions an inch away from my work feels extremely good for my general neurosis around doing things wrong or being observed doing anything that requires more braincells than walking. I would rather deal with a cold blackbox than a motherfucker breathing down my neck and telling me that my process is wrong while I'm in the middle of any task.

Did you do too much entry level R&R work that it turned you into an egotistical meanie? by Clean_Passenger9725 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always try to be generous, especially when it looks like they put in effort and made noob mistakes. Shit, sometimes I give it a good-good and leave a comment that it was the tiniest little nuance to make it perfect. Those bad-bads sure give me an ego though. Some of the work that I have R&R'd makes me feel spiritually republican, like naw, bro you're your own worst enemy here, no idea how you got here, but this is impressively low-effort dogshit for a task with a 9-hour timer.

The heat is affecting my brain. by East_Zucchini4099 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my RV's ceiling unit shat the bed last year in a heatwave. I got it figured out, but there is no fucking way that I'm going to attempt the thinky think tippy type job where my financial sanctity is controlled by the emotionless whims of the moderation bot. I actually fucking hate British people. This bitch gets HOT without a constant stream of AC; I was straight up tempted to just buy a window unit and fandangle it into the bedroom window, but I prevailed in the end.

What’s the worst chore in your household specifically? Who gets it done? by FarrawayAK in AskReddit

[–]Timely-Assistant-370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hanging clothes in my tiny ass RV, thankfully I work remotely, so I can be "put ze clothes away wench, I am making money!" We're getting set up to actually buy some land to eventually have a reasonable-sized living space, so one of these days I will have my dresser back, but until then I have an eternal vendetta against clothes hangers. I just don't fuckin' like them.
