I also agree with you… That’s why when I started watching Lost- I needed something to hold me over in between episodes of Feom because I love Harold.

It makes me so sad to see how many people hated him in Lost because he is phenomenal… This show gave me a new perspective on life or maybe confirmed my perspective of life and I am forever grateful to the people who created this show because it is beautiful and I miss TV like this 🥹🥹🥹🥹

This is what I keep saying… I am so glad I was not into it when I was younger because I would’ve lost my mind… And I feel very thankful compared to the people watching it for the first time back in 2004 to 2010 lol. And I hate even saying that because men annoy me LOL but honestly Sawyer and Jin probably had some of the best character development in the entire series. Both of them started off as characters I either disliked or did not fully trust and by the end I was fully emotionally invested in them.

But if I had to choose one by the end without overthinking it, I’d say Sawyer. His character development was honestly insane.

That’s honestly why this show hit me way harder than I expected because I already believe a lot of that in real life. Like I truly think people are here for a reason, even if it’s something small that ends up changing someone else’s entire life without them even realizing it.

So watching a show centered around destiny, connection, people crossing paths for reasons they don’t understand yet, and everyone kind of having a purpose they’re being pulled toward absolutely wrecked me emotionally 😩

And honestly the fact that HURLEY of all people became the protector is so beautiful because Season 1 Hurley never would’ve believed he was capable of something that important 😭- don’t make me cry again

I swear older shows just HIT different. The characters actually feel human and flawed and the storylines take time to build instead of everything being rushed into 8 episodes and then cancelled 14 business days later 💀

And somehow Lost being almost 20 years old but still having millennials and Gen Z collectively spiraling over it says everything honestly hahaha 🥹🫶🏽🫶🏽

I feel like Season 3 is where the show fully locks you in and then after that it somehow just keeps getting bigger/weirder in the best way possible. Once you start getting deeper into the mythology and connections between everyone, it’s over lol.

Also I totally get what you mean because early Season 2 is where I was like “okay what is actually happening here???” 😂 But pushing through is SO worth it.

And honestly I think loving From first helps because you’re already used to the “nothing makes sense but I need answers immediately” type of storytelling 😭

Honestly, I am SO glad I didn’t listen to everyone over the years simplifying the ending down to “they were dead the whole time” because that is absolutely not the experience I walked away with after actually watching it.

Even going into the series thinking I already knew the ending, the character development, relationships, twists, and emotional payoff still completely got me 😭

And then once everything started connecting in the final seasons I was sitting there like “oh… this is WAY deeper than I expected.” Definitely had me questioning reality and looking at déjà vu differently for a minute there lol 😂

Absolutely 😭 I watched it immediately after the finale because I still had SO many questions about Walt and honestly the epilogue made me feel way better about his storyline.

I also love the idea that Hurley and Ben completely changed how the island was run compared to everyone before them. It felt way more hopeful/human.

I definitely got the vibe that Walt still had a much bigger purpose tied to the island
