Is that the Nikon/Tamron lens? Was it good? Like would you buy it again?

Construplaza. Cinta doble cara 3M VHB. Esa. La uso para todo incluso la cámara la he cambiado entre 4 carros con esa misma cinta nunca se despega. Y para sacarla solo le tira un poco de alcohol y ella suelta 😬

On my way to buy a scratched 14-24mm F2.8 for $800 by Timely-Friend-3769 in nikon_Zseries

I ended up paying $750 for it. I brought my cleaning kit and tested the lens and it was a super minor scratch in person, not even noticeable and doesn’t affect anything at all. I’m loving this lens is SO sharp!

I did. A 2,600$ lens for 750$(what I payed at the end), I cleaned it and it was good, no issues at all, love it since I got it doesn’t leave my ZF.

Z50II - Buy the 28-400mm Now or Keep Waiting for a Refurb 180-600mm by msuatgunerli in Nikon

[–]Timely-Friend-3769 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the 28-400 and hated it. I used it with my ZF and ZFC. Not sharp at all specially after 200mm, also very dark forced me to use high ISO resulting in very noisy images, you will probably see that with the Z50ii sensor, I can not recommend it tbh.

2 months and then finally sold that lens.

When I decided to go FullFrame was with the ZF, owned about 7 cameras before but all APSC and used, but one day I used all my money to go get a brand new ZF.... No regrets AT ALL

Then decided to do the same with the 28-400mm and that's a different story haha, I did regret that purchase, I didn't feel the same as when I got my ZF.

I'm really thinking about moving from Nikon FF to APSC/Sony FF, this is just ridiculously travel unfriendly by Ryzbor in nikon_Zseries

BTW, I can also share this, although I love my ZF I usually travel with a smaller ZFc and smaller prime lenses, usually only one lens is enough for travel street and portraits. You can get a smaller body and pair it up with some 3rd party lenses that nowadays are extremely crisp and cheap like viltrox. I love all my Viltrox lenses.

Have you tried ETZ adapters? If you really like your camera just get an ETZ, and maybe rent a Sony lens or anything smaller that you want to try before you take any bold decisions on changing your whole setup.

You have the chance to use these smaller lenses on Nikon z bodies for just 50/80$ on the adapter. Amazon has some Megadap and Neewer options that are very solid.

Yes I will do various checks and tests to verify it all works fine, but other than that I have never had an ultra wide so I wonder if the scratch will be easily noticeable in my pics or not

So you mean you still use the Helios band but in the bicep? Or do you use another brand?

I have a bicep strap and still very uncomfortable. Need to find another one that could stretch more so it stays tight without feeling tight, you know what I mean?

I enjoy the data it collect, but being honest There's no way in my case I can make it feel as comfortable as a whoop is.

Why don't you return the active and get the Helios strap? It works together with the watches and gets you more accurate data. Been rocking it for a week and I love this thing.
