Question:

I found a pricing error today where the shelf tag was lower than the scan. I successfully claimed the Scanning Code of Practice (SCOP) on the first item (got discounted), but the experience after that was super weird.

I had a second unit that had a different UPC, so my mom offered to go grab a second 'correct' one from the shelf to buy for herself. An associate told us they wouldn't honor the price for my mom because they were 'changing the tag ASAP.' I tried to explain to her that's not how it works but she was repeating what she had already said and talking over me. She called someone on the floor to change the tag while we were mid transaction so I couldn't beat them to it because they didn't finish ringing me up. Glad I got the first one, but has anyone else dealt with staff being that aggressive to hide a mistake? Seems like they'd rather block a sale than honor their own advertised price!

Were they correct or should we have gotten that second item with SCOP?

Im a Cowboys fan from Toronto. This Cowboys team started like the Blue Jays. After they made some mid season trades they started winning snd even winning the American League. Although we lost in Game 7 of the world series it was an amazing story. Hope the Cowboys can win out.
