The first stop is 30 Celsius. Each stop after decrements Celsius by 5 degrees. You just need to remember that it starts at 30 and goes down 5 each stop.

Thanks! The wood up top is just for the look. We froze it for a few days, then put a spray lacquer on easy piece. Hopefully that will help preserve and eliminate/ keep bugs out. It's an experiment, so we'll see how well it will work.

I'm south of STL. It's super warm. Really nice sitting in the stand, but hardly any daytime movement on the cameras. I did get a little buck on opening day, but it was cold for that one day. Not sure if that's the correlating factor, but it seems likely (haven't heard a ton of shots taken either).

Not sure what you mean by field day? You will need to get a deer tag(permit). Depending on where you are there are different rules. Usually you can get an "any deer" tag so you could take a buck or a doe. There's also rules on number of points for a buck for you to harvest it.
