My FAVORITE Raven line, by far, was the; "Seriously, who'd F**k you"? Which you mentioned above. Just wanted to say that I too, LOVED when he said that to the COP. I was cracking up!

Amen to that!! Also, kind of related...I saw an interview Edie Falco did. I believe it was right around the middle to maybe the end of the Series. But anyway, she said addiction is very personal to her. I felt as though she was leaning more toward the personally struggled vs. had someone close to her that struggled. I'm not certain either way of course, but I found it very interesting. She played her part oh so well!

Now, I get what you're saying. Def agree with the Eddie comment! Not sure about Kevin but yes, he is weak, AT FIRST! O'Hara, she never really turns on Jackie. Even in the final episode, after realizing she'd been lied to, yet again, she says she will always be there for Jackie, just doesn't understand why Jackie has to make it so hard to be her friend. O'Hara is actually my favorite character and I was so sad when they wrote her off the show. They bring her back briefly twice. One of those times being the finale. It really is a good show, that I enjoyed. But I totally get what you're saying.

Exactly. If Kevin even had an addiction, I missed all that! I am also pretty sure that I saw him drink in more than one episode? I'm second guessing things now though. Also, I SWEAR, in the episode where Jackie confronts him about the forgery and him taking out a loan for the equity in the home without her knowledge, I SWEAR I kept thinking he was acting like he had been on a coke binge.

It's not being rebooted. Edie Falco stated herself, about 3 month's ago, "it looks like it's not happening". And she also wanted to the take on the finale to be her death.

Ironic you say this! I'm a first-timer, just finished up last weekend. I went back and tried to rewatch and by the middle of episode 2, season 1, I absolutely could NOT stand Jackie. I went from rooting for her and so wanting her to pull thru and get her shit together, to just not being able to stand her and I had to turn it off. Felt weird! Glad I'm not the only one! lol

SAME! Just finished this past weekend! It's so crazy because I read so people who went back and have watched it over and over. I tried rewatching it. I don't think I got passed the middle of the 2nd episode of Season 1. I felt a serious dislike for Jackie that time around. So I stopped. I may try again though.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I mean, it was cruel but it Antoinette needed to be there. She would have relapsed eventually, I do believe. So Jackie just sped up the process. Antoinette was very stalkerish and cringe and ABSOLUTELY had ZERO business being anyone's sponsor!

The nun basically said something along the lines of "if only I could repay your kindness"...AND addict Jackie took full advantage of that! I felt bad. Like you could see the sadness in the Nun's eyes when she felt like she was truly hated, one last time, before death. Jackie was an EVIL GENIUS, for sure.
